That depiction of the camera to the right is totally wrong - the Sony FDR_AX53 is a short cylinder shaped video camera.
This herd dispatched these two to check us out. This image is likely the last in the current Palouse series.
Lunch time as Eunice begins to show an impact here. We were promised blizzard and whiteout conditions ... though not severe wind speeds, like Storm Arwen. Looks like it could be so .... no power cuts so far! We are prepared ... but hopeful.

Every Labour Day weekend a group of us explore one of Canada's treasures: Algonquin Park just north of Toronto, Ontario. It is a time of canoeing, portaging and camping with a group of great friends in this wilderness jewel.

Today is my last day in Warsaw! Heading home tomorrow.
This picture were taken at the old town in Warsaw! The Old Town was established in the 13th century but almost totally demolished in the second World War. After the war Old Town was meticulously rebuilt. As many as possible of the original bricks were reused. However the reconstruction was not necessarily built accurately to pre-war Warsaw, often by deferring to an earlier period, attempting to improve upon the original, or by adding an authentic looking facade to cover a more modern building. The rubble was sifted for reusable decorative elements, which were reinserted into their original places.
Today Old town in Warsaw is listed as one of Unescos world heritages sites.

Westerland rose in my garden in front of the lavender 'field' 😉 ☀️
The roses in the garden didn't look good at all after the freezing winter. Actually, we thought that they all were frozen to death. The Westerland rose was then cut back from over 1.5 m high to just above the ground. And it worked 😄 they all survived and bloom more beautiful than in recent years 😄 See Christine_S. ? They survived 👍 Happy Sunday everybody ☀️
