It was very humid. The sky was full of fluffy clouds. At least the trees offered some cooling shade.
Of course, I don't mean it literally, but I think that if bears were out and about on January 1st, this is what they would be doing. LOL. I think that they would see this as a new year, filled with all of the promises associated with one. They would venture out early and go out and explore there world. Perhaps go out to the end of that strand in the lake, sit down, and watch 2023's first sunrise. LOL. I know that this all seems so silly to put my thoughts on that bear, but wouldn't that be a fun thought? LOL
When I photograph bears, I know that most people, including myself, like to see the bears close up, in all of their glory and detail. That being said, I do try to mix up my shots. Honestly the ones that take me back to the place and time and more importantly, the feeling of the moment and experience, are the ones that capture the magnificent landscape as well. These are the ones that make me yearn to go back. they are also the ones that make me appreciate nature at its best. How about you?
Missed out posting yesterday, so I wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy New Year! Here's hoping that it's filled with good health, happiness, fun-filled times with friends and family, and a wealth of fresh experiences living life to the fullest.
