Tea for three...

Happy Peaceful Fridays : )
The green tea bag is sitting inside the inner part of the glass cup, sitting on top of a mirror. Card was slanted across the top of the cup so as not to reflect anything above through the mirror, with a light directly above the cup too so as to highlight more of the color of the tea green tea bag.

Macro Mondays - theme of February 4th, 2019: Brew
Meaning: a macro of something related to the preparation or enjoyment of coffee, tea or herbal infusion (ingredients, utensils or method).
This is a (used) bamboo whisk (known as a "chasen") - a tool (utensil) to prepare Macha tea, a finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves.
The Matcha powder and hot water (70 - 85 °C) are mixed and then frothed up whith this bamboo whisk - moving it in a zig zag motion (like the letter "W" or "M").
Measurement:
This Matcha Tea Whisk has a total diameter of 5 cm - here you see 3.5 cm of it. The bristles are under one millimetre wide.
Happy Macro Monday everyone !
Thanks a lot for your feedback - I appreciate it very much.
I will be browsing late in the evening :)

January is Hot Tea Month. I know I almost missed it. I brewed some Chai Green Tea and added a bit of a savory snack with homemade Peach Ginger Chutney. Green tea is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on the body.
a blend of green tea with cinnamon, orange peel, rose petals, almond and a hint of coconut: perfect for winter
I set ISO on 400. I think it is grainier. Lush grain. Captures air so well. Or it could have been the cigarette smoke from the next table.
This healthy beverage contains several elements required to enhance bone structure and strength, as well as alkalizing the surround tissues.
For 119 pictures in 2019 #14 "Beetles". Some years we see plenty of actual beetles, but this year, when I need one, I have not seen a single one. So I found this teaball with a ladybug shaped weight, shown here in a mug of green tea. It was actually supposed to be just a souvenir of the South Texas Botanical Gardens in Corpus Christi.
