Vom vielen Regen ist es in diesem "Sommer" sehr grün, auch wenn es schon etwas herbstlich anmutet an manchen Tagen. Dort, wo die Reben keinen Schaden erlitten haben, brauchen sie bis zur Lese noch eine Weile.

The city wall of Pienza is a very good spot to "spy" the surrounding hills around the city. I learned to use a 300 mm lens which makes detailed pictures possible with all kind of lines and objects in the landscape. Pienza, 2019.

An outtake from an October walk and the source image for the previous 'day-for-night'. Both were jpegs re-edited on Photopea (worth checking out when you have a chance), since I was away from my PC when boredom struck.
Mulla mulla (Ptilotus species) are also known as Mulla mulla feather flowers for their fluffy flower spikes in pinks, mauves, purples and greens. This wildflower species is endemic to much of mainland Australia.
I'm intrigued by the bright lime seagrass on these small boulders. The larger boulders in back and to the right shield Greens Pool Beach in William Bay National Park from the Great Southern Ocean. From what I read, this beach is a popular spot in the summer for snorkeling. Although on this later spring afternoon in September, I found it almost deserted.
