The historical village of Piódão is reminiscent of a crib because of the harmonious way in which its houses are arranged in the form of an amphitheatre. At night, when the village´s lights are turned on, this picture is particularly magnificent.

The entire village of Piodão is made of almost entirely of schist, including the roads and paths between houses.

This pond provides a beautiful reflection fo the Grand Tetons - the problem is the local ducks who like to swim and dine here. As they move the water is disrupted, and the mirror view is gone - but with enough waiting, I found a perfect time with still water

Some peaks of the Sundance Range reflected in one of the Vermillion Lakes on a crispy, chilly autumn morning.

Mt. Rundle, the iconic peak to the left that is one of the most photographed mountains in Canada was shrouded in clouds. Glad these peaks were out reflected nicely below.

Thanks All for the gracious comments, faves and support. Always appreciated!

This haven of peace and calm lies just off the coast of Dubrovnik. It is a pleasant place to visit.

If you are watching, or have watched, the series“Ozark”, this is the lake in Missouri where the story takes place. I know that part of it was actually filmed elsewhere, but this is the “real deal” in all of its fall splendor.
