S’han fet tres light graffittis en tres llocs diferents donada la complicació que suposa una fotografia d’aquest tipus i la repetició de les presses. S’ha tingut cura de deixar el màxim possible l’exposició, per agafar-ne la llum que es pinta el màxim possible.
S’han elaborat tres preses principals de Light Graffitti, una situada a un turó de la platja de Montgat amb llum del capvespre, una segona situada portes endins, i, una tercera presa feta a la nit situada a un terrat a Barcelona.
En quant al material usat s’han fet servir els mòbils de les persones implicades, tant la llanterna com la pròpia pantalla del dispositiu (fet servir fons de pantalla de color blau). Apart, s’han fet manualitats amb cartolina i paper vegetal.
Pel que fa a l’execució de les preses:
-Exposició al màxim: 30 segons.
-Els punts F (apertura) s’han variat per a cada presa, per donar lluminositat depenent del que es volia aconseguir. Aquí en concret, s'ha rebaixat a 16 per percebre a les persones i a l'entorn.
-ISO a 400, pel mateix motiu que l'apertura, es vol donar més lluminositat a l'entorn.
Per a l'edició de la fotografia pràcticament s'han retocat una mica la lluminositat, els tons, s'ha fet servir de la correcció de la lens i l'aberració cromàtica. Apart, s'han esborrat, amb l'eïna clonadora, elements varis del fons.
Wile my recently published time lapse movie "Stars on the Move" (see: youtu.be/LAT9HzQnPMo) contains footage from this remote place in northern Arizona, I have not posted any stills from there. Definately something I have to change...
I found this canyon during my search for interesting foreground features in places that are not as crowded as some of the "bucket list" landmarks in the Southwest. The red sandstone rocks with their crisscrossing white lines reminded me of crazy petroglyphs or an alien graffitti. On closer scrutiny however, they clearly are of natural origin.
Of course, I had to stay for the night and not surprisingly, I had this incredible location all to myself. Ok, there were a few coyotes in the area, but I did not see a human soul within 20 miles. Dark skies and beautiful rocks, are what a landscape astrophotographers dreams are made of...
This is a great example for how rewarding it can be to leave the beaten path and find "new" places instead of crowding a few overshot features with dozens of other photographers.
