Colorado's Gore Range north-east of Vail has to be one of the more iconic ranges in Colorado. Here the late, low sun fires up the changing aspens. Breath taking to behold!

The elusive Himalayan goral (Naemorhedus goral) is a bovid species native to the Himalayas. Antelope-like in apparance they are usually found on higher rocky elevations. It is listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List.

Another cold morning capture here.
Goring Lock is a lock and weir situated on the River Thames in England at the Goring Gap in the Chiltern Hills. The lock is located on the Oxfordshire bank at Goring-On-Thames, with Streatley, Berkshire on the opposite side of the river.

Thought that a long exposure and mono would reflect the mood at Gore Bay today. No rain, so that was a bonus as shortly hereafter we set out for our Manuka Bay walk.
I got pretty close to the log to try and draw the eye in to that lovely detail and then on to the sky.
