Having spent most of the summer in the sea talking pictures with my gopro camera I thought it was about time to process some of them.
Captured by mounting my Canon upside-down to the inside of the windscreen of my car using a suction cup gadget holder. It had a screw mount for a GoPro or similar that fitted the tripod mount on the EOS. I then trailed a remote release to the drivers side which I could operate safely whilst keeping both hands on the steering wheel. The camera set up was full manual with bulb exposure. White balance was set to cloudy to capture the orange and yellow motorway lights accurately.
Straight out of camera other than a little contrast tweak.

The cooling of heels - Trail’s End at Purisma Creek, at the end of the before-times, with Ward and co.
Same viewpoint as the previous shot, but panned across the bay as a video, which was then turned into a still panorama with the ICE* tool.
* Image Composite Editor, a free software piece by Microsoft - makes decent panoramas from stills or video and is great fun to play with.
This was taken at Rocks State Park in Maryland by my grandson who's becoming quite a good photographer. It was taken with a GoPro camera.
Using my GoPro 10, my time lapse represents about 1 hour in ~30 seconds. When viewing or photographing fire skies, many time in peaks twice, once with deep reds during the start of Blue Hour and then again with bright oranges during Golden Hour.
Never give up thinking the fire has ended when there's a chance for a 2nd show!
