This is one of 3 plaques on the back of the cupboard over the breakfast bar between my kitchen and dinning area.. As I've said to others this also translates to "You can't care for others if you don't care for yourself first"....

This notice was facing out of the shop towards the window shoppers.... perhaps the store was expecting break ins................ and from thoughtful burglars!

I have new respect for my flickr friends from LA who have sets that are interesting. no offense, but Los Angeles is one of the least-inspiring places on the face of the planet. explains a lot about why movies are so goddamn bad most of the time.

I was asked by my friend Marcus Ward to photograph the band he's in, so always being up for a new challenge, I of course said yes.

 

Here is Alison Snedker of Ottawa's fantastic funk/soul/RnB outfit Good Advice on vocals at Bar Robo. Fun but different to work in low light, strange colours, loud noise and dancing people.
