The Cairns Alpine Resort Golf Course at Lake Tekapo is the highest 9 hole course golf course in New Zealand, sitting at 794 metres above sea level. The views over Lake Tekapo and the surrounding snow-capped mountains make it one of the most spectacular golf courses in the country.

As promised I have a few infra red shots from Barnbougle (taken with my converted compact camera). These have been converted to black and white and the the sky has been colour toned using the blue stream of the tone curve.

Here a group of golfers are on the 18A Green at Barnbougle's Lost Farm links course. Lost Farm is a course designed by former US Masters winner Ben Crenshaw. It has 20 holes, and is the younger sister to The Dunes links course at Bridport.

Already 1891 Golf was introduced in Sweden and 1902 Gothenburg Golf Club was founded. It is the oldest Golf Club in Sweden.

This is the first hole, near the green, of the Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club and two friends and I were out playing golf. It was a beautiful morning where the low sunshine was glittering off the very wet foliage. So out came my mobile as I could not resist trying to capture that gorgeous moment.

Well this was the start of my 18 holes yesterday....which turned out really nice...a gorgeous day was had by all..... well except for a few golfers....lol....but hey !! that's the nature of the game..... I just enjoyed going around on the little cart and shoot pretty pictures....of a really pretty course....The colors were outstanding......

When we visit California, we always go to Half Moon Bay which is only about 30 minutes south of San Francisco. I love to play the Old Course at the Half Moon Bay Golf Links. I believe the 18th hole that runs parallel to the ocean is the most beautiful finishing hole of any golf course anywhere. On this particular day I finished my round of golf and went back to the 18th hole about sunset to try and capture golfers finishing with the ocean as a backdrop and the sun setting. This elderly couple stayed on the green a few minutes to drink up the view and gave me a great photo opportunity. Enjoy
