Took this with my iphone as we were shooting a short golden hour sunset scene with the two actors.

Happy World Photography Day!
At the last minute I decided to go out and shoot in honor of the occasion. This morning I want out early...just missing the best light right before sunrise. This pier is only a few miles from home, so I rushed out and took a few snaps.
Today so far has been rough. Very rough morning. Didn’t enjoy it at all.
So I need a smile. And here God gave me one. I’m just happy knowing that I’m able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I don’t have the energy/attention span to comment today, so no need for you either. Just enjoy this smile.
As a tribute to his appearance on today's Nine Club podcast, here's a shot I took at a mini-ramp session in Goleta, California, sometime in 1995.
This was most likely shot on Kodak E100VS, my favorite film stock at the time. I was using a 17mm fisheye lens on a Pentax Spotmatic that I picked up at the Earl Warren photo swapmeet for cheap.
A horizontal comp from a very nice day at the beach back in March. If you go back a bit in my photo-stream you will find a vertical comp from the same shoot. Near Campus point and UCSB.
