From used silk ties to old film slides to fabric to paper, paints, pastels to wire bound notebooks, which I've digitally rearranged here to create this techspressionist piece.

The House of Bast and the House of Sekhmet

Long ago, on another planet before its death, there were two families of felid humanoids. They became known to the earth born humans from the Egyptian mythology as the two lion-headed goddesses Bast and Sekhmet. Though it is true that these two houses had been a part of the pure bred lions of the eastern tribes, in the west, among the Harmakhians, they interbred with the felids of the lower houses, who themselves rose in family rank because of this mixed blood with the pure. Still the House of Bast and House of Sekhmet remained the head families of the felids, and, once every generation, they would meet to arrange the marriage of two lion born to maintain their origins. These two would rule both houses with the power and authority of their ancestors behind them.

Not everyone was content with this tradition, but, because it held the peace among the felids, it was maintained even to the End of Days and upon the new world that they sought to reach when they traveled through the deep and dark depths of the heavenly sea.

The loss of the lineage happened at a time when the humans of this world betrayed their gods of old. Though there are other sides to this story, we here and now are only focusing on the gods, by which the felids and other humanoids with anthropological features had been revered as by the ancient humans of this world. Once it became known to these early folk of humanity that the gods they worshipped were not really gods, a war broke out that caused great many casualties on both sides.

Seeing that there appeared no end to the slaughter, the heads of the felid families and the human tribes worked out a treaty. The humans were granted some of the technology used by the felids to create their cities, which would eventually become the central hubs of power in the growing civilization of the earth born humans. Meanwhile, the felids became less and less known until they became the stuff of legend and mythology.

The felids would not begin to surface again until around the last part of the 20th century. They got caught up in the shadow government that promised them protection from the masses. What they did not realize was the protections were a trap, and that the Deep State really only sought to gain specimens among the felid remnant to create their own feline hybrids.

By the time of Midian City and Chamber City, not only was human civilization falling into anarchy, but the new breed of feline hybrids that originated from human laboratories surpassed the remnant that originated from Mars. No one expected there to be any pure blood remnants left, and thus the hope of rebuilding the ancient felid empire was lost. Then one day came that a child from the House of Bast and a child from the House of Sekhmet found each other. Yet even then, as flighty as the Bast child was, the future of the pure bred felids still remained a mystery as she disappeared into the mist, never to be seen again.

Then again, the pure bred felid is just a myth, a beautiful, polished noble lie of the ancients, is it not?

I must be brave and face my past.

Tried to erase every trace of me.

I do not know how long I'll last.

But I will try to survive and see...

Afrodita (en griego antiguo, Ἀφροδίτη) es, en la mitología griega, la diosa de la belleza, la sensualidad y el amor. Su equivalente romano es Venus. Aunque a menudo se alude a ella en la cultura moderna como «la diosa del amor», es importante señalar que antiguamente no se refería al amor en el sentido romántico sino erótico.

Pese a que en la mitología estaba casada con Hefesto, tuvo otros amantes, siendo Ares su favorito. Junto a sus hermanos, ocupaba un lugar en el panteón entre los doce dioses olímpicos. De su nombre se desprenden acepciones, como la palabra afrodisíaco, y de su nombre en romano antiguo (Venere), provienen venerar y venérea (referido a lo sexual).

Aphrodite (in ancient Greek, Ἀφροδίτη) is, in Greek mythology, the goddess of beauty, sensuality and love. Its Roman equivalent is Venus. Although she is often referred to in modern culture as "the goddess of love," it is important to note that in the past she did not refer to love in the romantic but the erotic sense.

Despite the fact that in mythology she was married to Hephaestus, she had other lovers, Ares being her favorite. Along with her brothers, she held a place in the pantheon among the twelve Olympian gods. From its name meanings emerge, such as the word aphrodisiac, and from its name in ancient Roman (Venere), come venerate and venereal (referring to the sexual).

1200-1100 aC. statuette di dee con le braccia alzate, tra le più grandi conosciute a Creta fino ad oggi; attaccate sulle loro teste recano i simboli e le corna di consacrazione; sono state trovate nella insediamento Postpalatial di Karphi.

Il ritrovamento comprendeva anche un carro a tre ruote stilizzato di argilla con un auriga e teste di tori, una tavoletta di argilla sormontata da una testa umana e altri oggetti caratteristici di culto del periodo Essi sono stati rinvenuti in diverse parti dell'insediamento, indicando che le attività di culto avvenivano tutto il sito.

1200-1100 BC. figurines of goddesses with upraised arms, among the largest know in Crete to date, with attached symbols and horns of consecration on their heads, were found in the Postpalatial settlement of Karphi. Find also included a stylised clay three-wheeled chariot rhyton with a charioteer and attached bulls head, a clay tablet topped with a human head and other characteristic cult objects and vessels of the period, such as a clay tube kalathoi, an openwork potstand and a human-shaped rhyton. They were derived from different parts of the settlement, indicating that cult activities took place throughout the site.
