so, i enjoy taking the photos in my house.....;p
I came upon this picture while cleaning out.
I did some "heavy" processing on it earlier in the year, but at this point i do like the original more.
in the florist near my office, they were sold at a special price
for 300 yen per bundle.
they had caught my eye every time I passed there,
and when i passed there on the 3rd day,
at last i bought it.

Ex Eastern Counties 1965 ECW Bristol Lodekka GNG 125C at a very damp Levington bridge and about to depart back to Ipswich after a short photo stop.
With 4100' of gangcars behind the drawbar, 5901 and friends roll over the switch at Gap West. This train originated from Toronto and likely cleared out most, if not all, of the gang cars CP owns out of Cartier and Chapleau for work projects on the Cascade and Thompson sub. Its hard to beat EMDs motoring down the mainline.
CP 5901 leads a SD40-2 and a rebuilt SD60-3 west at cochrane with a GNG train bound for the lower mainlands in BC.
The hogger gets shit cookin' while the conductor calls the clear signal at Exshaw West now that it's visible.

¿Has conducido alguna vez bajo el nivel del mar? La cara de mis compañeros mientras conducíamos camino al muelle era épica. La tormenta Emma daba sus últimos coletazos y castigaba al ya maltrecho muelle de Carrasqueira.
Tarde muy complicada para hacer una foto: marea alta y muy grande, viento fuerte, el muelle se movía mucho y caminar por él se convertía en una aventura porque había zonas donde tenía todas las madera levantadas.
Pero llega el atardecer y con él la calma... ¡Qué momento!
