This is a simple story... That day, walking through the gardens, someone undoubtedly placed the glove, as seen in the photo, of the gardener so that he probably wouldn't go crazy looking for it...
The mystery will be where the other glove is?
Pink glove is a track by Pulp, and I think it sums up the beach and this rock pool, which held it's pink reflection for me! I was a bit annoyed at the bubbles on the water at the time, but as the tide had only just dropped, it was a bit obvious that would be the case!! Relax!
I came across this scene today. It fascinated me, but I did not know why. I still don't. It is Spring, and the lost glove points back to Winter. I guess, the scene is talking to me, about expectations and about loss. A lost Spring.
I have a reputation for loosing my gloves and hats (and sometimes umbrellas, too, if I ever use one) at a regular basis ... usually on the streetcar / tram, on the mountains or somewhere else out and about taking photos
... I don't mind wearing odd / different gloves (and socks) though, so I don't throw away the single ones ; ))

Whilst walking on the beach I noticed these blue gloves placed on the side of a fisherman's boat. I found them quite amusing and they seemed to be waving to the passing boats.

We’re away for a few days on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains in the beautiful Methow valley. Hubby is fly fishing while I wander about a bit and sit on our screened porch watching butterflies and listening to the Twisp River.

This spectacular moth was my #1 on my 'Most Wanted' list. In fact I have been wanting to find ANY species in this genus since I was a child. It was kind of my white whale! And yesterday, I finally did. I spotted this one while out with my boyfriend in the foothills outside Colorado Springs. I yelped expletives and literally jumped up and down, I was absolutely beside myself!
The moth, a male, was sitting on a pinecone on the ground. In this picture, my boyfriend is holding the pinecone, and giving his hand for size reference.
Must have spent half my visit to this place on the ground photographing fungi, absolutely love this time of year.

At this time of year when the weather is so cold I don't leave the house without a pair of gloves. The little flower on the finger allows me to use my phone without removing the glove. So useful on bitterly cold days!
