This screen measures approximately 11.5 feet high by 16 feet wide and weighs over 1000 lbs. It's created with 28 glass panels, 28 plexiglass panels, and over 200 custom made mounting bolts.
Liverpool
Following on from the previous upload, this shot is take from the main aisle of the church this time looking east. The organ pipes are situated above three glass screens, these screens of etched glass work separate the main area of the church from the narthex, and are built into the arches which are just visible.
The organ was built in 1952 by Rushworth & Dreaper Ltd of Liverpool, it is dedicated to the memory of Charles W. Bridson, organist at the Parish Church between 1902-1949.

The pigeon, wasn't the least bit bothered by my cat, Never flinched even when the cat tried to pounce and it sauntered off in its own sweet time..
Not the best of images and not intended to be as very difficult to get a shot of the bird through the double glazing but interesting animal aspects are on view here I think and therefore posted for interest.
A little rain here today in Abu Dhbi, lasted all of one minute !!!
