Against all odds, we had an unexpected spectacular sunset last night; on top of that, we found a LEVEL overnight spot right along the Oregon coastline, with the iconic sea stacks to boot!

We were here with our camper, so a glamping tent was out of the question, but they looked very inviting.
An image I took one of the three days we spent in the Myvatn region, here near Krafla volcano and power plant. In the upper left corner our motor home which was struggling heavily with the amount of snow we were suddenly facing in May. We often left it by the side of the street and went land inwards with our gear to photograph, which was the safest way to get around :)

Sleeping in a pod heated by a wood burning stove means probably getting up at night to add a log or two. Limited transport in the camp means that you have to walk from reception to your pod. This is part of the Whitepod experience. Just like walking in a silent forest, enjoying local cuisine or enjoying private ski slopes. Discover a unique experience where nature is luxury.
