A vehicle which for so long was requested by company owner, Austin Blackburn to attend the open day to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Swanley Garage finally became reality on Friday 22nd August 2025, when former LGOC T-type T219 GK 5486 arrived at the garage on low loader, on loan from the London Transport Museum and would go on to be one of the stars of the depot open day the following day.

It is seen here inside the original 1925 built garage being positioned ready to take its part in Swanley Garage 100.

I just can't get his head still...he kept it swinging each time that I aim to focus a shot! Of the three shots I made for him, this one was the least blurry, he had been quite still for a second...:))

Harpers GK-880 8 transistor,what do you say about one of the hardest transistor radios to find? Its not as large as the Monarch 90.Both volume and tuning is located on the right side of radio and it runs on 2 AA penlight batteries.A reverse plastic front that is all It's own (ships wheel)tune it in and lets listen.
