Sur la photo en lien de Frédéric WILLOT, prise depuis le Mont Ventoux le 19 avril 2023, avec un Canon EOS 5D Mark III, au fichier de 8858x5904 pixels, on peut faire apparaître, en jouant sur le contraste, tout au fond à l'horizon, les silhouettes évanescentes de quelques reliefs de la Corse et de la Sardaigne, chose évidemment impossible si nous nous trouvions sur une mappemonde de rayon = 6 371 km ! (^^)
350 km pour la Corse et 450 à 550 km pour la Sardaigne, je vous laisse calculer le HIDDEN, c'est-à -dire la chute de courbure qu'il devrait y avoir pour une hauteur d'observation de 1 900 mètres et de telles distances entre observateur/appareil photo et cible...

scanning the YCAM library. this is my first attempt at 3d scanning a very large space, and i haven't correctly accounted for the extrinsics yet -- i just guessed approximately.
i tried accounting for the distortion coefficients, but somehow that introduced more distortion, so i have to fix that too.
