Ginger stayed put. He followed the fox along the back wall when it tried to come back, and Ginger stayed. He wan't about to let the fox into the garden. When the fox had gone Ginger attacked the buddleia stump, putting all his energy into the attack, letting off steam. That was the end to it, job done, garden sufficiently guarded! Ginger came back indoor for a snack. All that excitement had left him peckish.
