on the dense structures of Downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada
A vivid cobalt-blue frog sculpture clings dramatically to a rain-speckled pane of glass, limbs splayed wide as though startled mid-leap. Shot from below, the amphibian’s exaggerated pose and open mouth create a theatrical, almost operatic expression. Water droplets bead and streak across the glass, softening the autumnal background into warm ochres and greens, while a bright splash of foliage adds contrast to the frog’s intense ultramarine body. The image balances humour and texture — glossy resin, damp glass, and creamy bokeh combining for a playful yet striking composition.
