It's not what I wanted, but the horde of People strolling through here was.... unbelievable and none of them would stand where I wanted them long enough to get a clean shot so......
Canadian incursion was a success, sorry for all the empty kegs and food shortage that we left behind. I do, however, have some questions for my Canuck peeps:
1) Why do you put outlets directly above sinks without GFI protection? Is it to kill off the unwanted tourists?...
2) Do you folks not pee? I mean, a rest stop on the side of the freeway can't cost all that much....
3) and most importantly, WHAT THE BLAZES DOES A FLASHING GREEN ARROW MEAN?!!!! Go. No. Go. No..... :)
Star Railroad is a hard-to-catch industrial operation in Green Cove Springs. The Star Railroad seldom operates making it a real treat to find one of their SW9’s parked at Worthington Ave. On the roster are 3 leased switchers, they work at the facility to shuffle cars awaiting repairs and spot the repaired ones at the Duroc interchange with CSX. LOSX 140 is #658 SW9 ex SCL>nee ACL. Veolia Environmental leased it for waste processing operations at the now-closed Taylor County Landfill in Mauk, GA. Later it reopened as the WIN Waste Taylor County Facility owned by GFI Environmental
Up to 12,000 holiday lights adorn my desert oasis every holiday season. Starting about November 15, about 2 weeks is required to string them all. Over a half mile of cords are reqired to hook them all up. Two 15 amp GFI circuits run at full capacity to energize them.
Rumors have it that Santa uses my Oasis sea of lights as a homing beacon to guide his sleigh to Gilbert.

Tor is a scientist that I am so lucky to work with nowadays. He is helping us understand some of the aspects of climatic changes. He is a nice person with many good stories.

These people sure know how to use their heads. I mean look at how they made sure to keep the extension cord and power strip out of the water.
Hopefully the cord is plugged in to a GFI outlet.
One or other of the Nav Canada CRJ-200s frequently comes here to calibrate the navigation aids. Today's visitor is the first one seen in a revised livery.
Buttons on a ground-fault-circuit-interrupter (GFCI) outlet, one kind of a class of devices also known as residual current devices.
The test button should be pressed monthly to confirm the unit works properly, but I wouldn't be surprised if regular testing is rarely performed, if ever.
