I love to read. I've read many books on many different subjects. I also love books. All kinds of books. My husband would say I have too many books. I dont' agree, except for on the occasion that we've moved ...then I thought maybe, I had too many books. As soon as they get into their new appropiate location....I re-decide that --NO-- just the right amount of books. LOL
Some books I get lost in. Totally lost. If I happen to stumble upon a good book, I'll find myself emersed in the book while working, doing the dishes, cleaning, etc.... In my mind, I am wondering what will happen next.....where could the storyline possibly go? How will the characters evolve?
Don't people do that anymore? Do they read? Do they escape to another reality? To another land? Well I know that in my experience here lately. I can't find anything that I want to read.
Are there any good original writers left? The last couple of times I've went book browsing, it seems like it is just a bunch of copy cats. How many vampire novels with werewolves can really be that different but still interesting without the reader thinking about twilight? or anne rice's vampires?
