I have not taken a real vacation in nine years. However, my long awaited "happy" vacation is now in jeopardy. The trip may still happen, but all the joy and anticipation has now evaporated. This week's mosaic is all about what I should have been looking forward to. (I actually made this mosaic before the bottom fell out of my plans, it's been sitting private for a while)
After today, I'll be off of flickr for a week or so, trying to cope with life.... I may try to pop in and comment on photos from my contacts when I have the chance. Thanks everyone!

one of the nice things about owning a sign shop is that i can whip out a shirt at the last minute should i need one. here's one still on the heat press for tomorrow's soap carving extravaganza-schwaklakk. look for me at the high noon saloon between 2 and 6pm. i'll be the guy wondering why he wore a black shirt while carving white soap.
Toronto, Canada. **The horses just about had a fit when the drummers pounded their drums in unison. I think the mounted unit needs to practice their riot skills along with say, the Samba Squad so they get used to the intense drumming. We scrambled back onto the sidewalk just in time to prevent getting trampled on. All was OK and no one hurt in the end. Beautiful horses, though...
Being used to illustrate an on-going discussion on the differences between North American English and UK English,

Knees in the breeze and a lovely day fer it.

Submitted for February 2009 MSH - #13 NICE GUYS ALWAYS FINISH LAST
While there is a myth that "nice guys" finish last in business, I don't believe that's the case!
NextErgo - Desk jobs can ruin your posture (and, frankly, your overall health). That’s why many office workers have turned to stand desks, but their benefits are limited if they aren’t actually ergonomic. Plus, standing throughout the day is an improvement, but you should still be moving around regularly—which can be hard to remember when you’re in the zone.
Introducing Next Generation Standing Desks, NextErgo is an AI-powered standing desk with ergonomics posture-perfecting technology and built-in presence detection sensors.

I don't know what's so special about this window but it seems to be popular with the builders.

Everybody the other side of the policeman in the blue and white stripes are the away fans (QPR) up from that there London. Norwich won 1-0 Cue songs about the not forgetting to pay the congestion charge although apparently it was free over the holiday period. Not that they told us of course.
