People at genetic risk for heart disease can decrease chances of heart attack by getting active
If you have a parent or sibling with heart disease, especially one that died at a young age, should you avoid exercise because of your genetic risk?
A new study says, quite clearly, no.

Preimplantation genetic screening (PGS ) is a procedure used prior to implantation to help identify genetic defects within embryos.
Here are some of the steps involved in this procedure:
✓One or two cells are removed from the embryo.
✓The cells are then evaluated to determine if the
inheritance of a problematic gene is present in the embryo.
✓Once the PGS procedure has been completed and embryos free of genetic problems have been recognized, the embryo will be transferred back into the uterus, and implantation will be attempted.
✓Any extra embryos that are free of genetic troubles may be frozen for later use while embryos with the problematic gene are destroyed.

Genetic Distance
2 steps
Genetic distance of 1 = almost certain that there are less than 9 generations to common direct-line male ancestor Genetic distance of 2 = almost certain that there are less than 11 generations to common direct-line male ancestor If you took the Y-DNA-37 test, which is less detailed, the genetic distance is slightly less certain:
