Today I dare to upload a very intense Street potrait. Thanks to father and son.
Parenting done well.
(which stands for Oh My God! Genetically Modified Organism!) When I see this kind of things I can't ask to myself "when?" When the humanity will understand that modifying genetically a tree to make it produce goats is against the natures laws! When?! Too late I guess! Jokes apart, while crossing the moroccan Countryside it is common to get in to this scenes, some goats are on the branch of the Argan trees, apparently to better eat their fruit, really to attract curious who will pay a tip to take a photo. But sometimes a tourist trap can offer a funny photo in return. Or not? shared with pixbuf.com
Late nights have finally paid off with my development of a plant with just leaves and no stems. Who needs a stem when we really only need colorful and magnificent leaves and flowers. this tree was made up of dull stems and bright colorful red leaves so i eliminated the stems and presto i have made a leaf plant.

Breaking News: A Revolutionary Hybrid - Chili Pomegranate Created in Genetic Engineering Lab!
In a groundbreaking experiment conducted in our cutting-edge Genetic Engineering Laboratory, scientists have successfully developed a new hybrid through the revolutionary chromosomoribocomo method. Behold the Chili-Pomegranate—a fiery yet fruitful innovation that defies the boundaries of nature!
This hybrid combines the zest and heat of a homegrown chili pepper with the vibrant allure of a perfectly round pomegranate (albeit this one is plastic for demonstration purposes!).
"Our new method allows for endless possibilities," said the lead researcher.
This bold experiment, staged in my very own garden, showcases not only the potential of this technique but also our ability to imagine the unimaginable. Stay tuned for more hybrids that will redefine what is real—or not!
Which hybrid would you like to see next? 🍎🌶️
In various regions of Asia—especially Korea, Japan, and parts of Southeast Asia—cats with short, curled tails have been a familiar sight in both urban and rural landscapes for centuries. These distinctive tails, often twisted like a spiral or loop, are the result of a natural genetic mutation that has persisted in local populations, particularly in isolated or inbred groups. In Korea, these cats are not an officially recognized breed, but they are common as both stray and domestic animals, and are often viewed fondly by locals.
The cat shown here—a calico female with a short, curled tail—is a beautiful example of this trait (although it is not clearly visible in the image). We found her at the harbor, keeping a vigilant eye on everything around her, full of curiosity and poise. After the photos were taken, she stayed close to us, gently asking for affection—clearly a lady of the port, confident and at ease in her domain. Her tricolor coat, typical of female calicos, adds symbolic value: in many Asian cultures, this pattern is associated with good luck and protection of the home.

Reino Unido de Gran Bretaña - Gibraltar - Macacos de Berbería
***
ENGLISH:
Barbary macaques, the famous "apes" of Gibraltar, which are actually monkeys. These are the only wild apes or monkeys found in Europe. This species, known scientifically as Macaca sylvanus, is listed as endangered by the IUCN Red List and is declining. Three-quarters of the world population live in the Middle Atlas mountains of Morocco. Recent genetic studies and historical documents point to their presence on the Rock before its capture by the British, having possibly been introduced during the Islamic period. A superstition analogous to that of the ravens at the Tower of London states that if the apes ever leave, so will the British. In 1944, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was so concerned about the dwindling population of apes that he sent a message to the Colonial Secretary requesting that something be done about the situation.

Genetic modification affects many of the products we consume on a daily basis. As the number of GMOs available for commercial use grows every year, the Non-GMO Project works diligently to provide the most accurate, up-to-date standards for non-GMO verification.

Keep your eyes on the "SEED" evolving.
CITY::GENETIC is an on-going project, a creative adventure and a meeting of inspired minds. A number of artists from different disciplines are sowing the seeds for a “genetic” experiment. They start with a single piece that represents the beginning of a story. Then they pass the seed to a second artist who makes the story evolve with a second piece. The process repeats until the creation of a genetic chain: the art work.
Simultaneously, the curators of Citypulse send the same seed to another 3 artists in each discipline in order to create a total of 4 parallel stories per format, all sharing the original DNA.
This site is updated continuously as the genetics of creative evolves.
These artists are sowing the seeds:
Could this little family have BEEN any more beautiful?! Seriously.

Tulips were originally brought to Europe from the Ottoman Empire (Turkey).
Tulip mutations, especially color variations, have been a significant part of tulip history and cultivation, particularly during the "tulip mania" period in the 17th-century Netherlands. These mutations, often caused by viruses like the tulip breaking virus, led to the creation of new and prized tulip varieties with unique color patterns.
Tulips showing desirable colour or petal shape variations (such as the one in the front) would be selectively bred.
At one point in the hight of the mania certain tulip bulbs were worth their weight in gold.
Labs were originally breed to be friendly working dogs and earned their keep by being fisherman's helpers, fetching ropes and hauling nets and retrieving fish in the North Atlantic.
