A rainy day at the main peak of the Joy Mountain when sun went down. 3,416-metre-high (11,207 ft) . :-)
... just at the foot of this peak there is a glacier. The only one in the Belledonne chain where I live. It explains the misty atmosphere and vapors that happen even during warm and dry summer days

This is part of a small project I came up with, my first photographic project ever actually, regarding how an idea is born. What you see is an abstract, I know. But how I got there is the real beauty of it...
In the beginning I was cold and frustrated, trying to find a way to make my main subject, the towels, look somewhat interesting. I was placing them on the coffee table, in all possible ways but I was almost negative to the thought of it from the get go. Nothing was working for me.
What I didn't know was that nothing would work for I was working against myself inside my head. Yet in the process I realized I was getting warmer and begun to leave my negativity aside, trying to work with what I had.
It was only when I let myself free of what I was seeing in front of me, that creativity kicked in and led to this result. I called it Genesis, for that was not about what I was looking at but rather how I saw it in the end, not with my eyes but my mind most likely.
I went from ice cold to sizzling hot the moment I let myself free to think not what I see but how I wanted to feel, the moment I felt what I wanted to think if you prefer... When I looked Within, that's when I saw the.. Genesis!
An idea was born...

My 3rd one of Genesis at Liverpool, Oct 3. The lighting was the most beautiful I've seen at a rock concert, sometimes subtle (like this) or more spectacular (to follow). I have so many it's a problem choosing one at a time.
It's Bonfire Night here in the UK, giving the excuse to let off fireworks. My home town (Swansea) must be the only one who has had to postpone the official display for a week because of high tide! The council are holding it on the beach again this year, needing the tide to be out.
Can't help thinking it will be hard to beat the light show at the Genesis concert last month! It reminded me of fireworks at the time. (I think this is number 6 I've put up.)

At La Maison d'Aneli until December 7th
I went to the "Artist Alley" in Searcy. (Just a few minutes from my day job). Set up my flash on a tripod with an umbrella, took a few practice shots of the wall and then went about finding a model. This sweet girl is a high school senior and her friends were taking her senior photos with a cell phone. I asked if she would pose for me. As you can see, she agreed. Thank you Genesis.
