The Miles M.65 Gemini was a British twin-engined four-seat touring aircraft designed and built by Miles Aircraft at Woodley Aerodrome. It was the last Miles aircraft to be produced in quantity.

But other twin pairs identified with Gemini in the Western world include the older and younger Horus and the mythical founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus.
The sea, on the right. Many times, the sky and the sea of Thessaloniki meet each other and become one, esp. during foggy mornings. One of the reasons I love that ancient, strange and beautiful city.
The last of these roses until spring...the pale light and delicate light and colors attracted me with the camera.
This building was originally a double silo for beans and seeds, now luxury flats on the harbour front.

After nearly 1.5 years of arrangements, I finally managed to film inside-the-dome timelapse of the Gemini telescope propagating its adaptive optics laser. This was one of the most painful shoots that I've ever done--I lost count of the number of times we chose a date and then failed to submit paperwork on time, the Office of Mauna Kea Management failed to process the paperwork in time, the paperwork went through but the weather was bad, or everything else was ok but the laser was canceled at the last minute.
During this night, the weather was flawlessly perfect and the laser was scheduled to operate the entire night. However, after just an hour of propagation, there was a fatal error and it was canceled for the rest of the night.
I filmed timelapse video on three cameras, and this is one of the stills from a Sony A7s (thanks, Raiatea!) + my Rokinon 12mm f/2.8 fisheye. Many, many thanks to Joy Pollard at Gemini for dealing with the paperwork, arranging for me to put cameras in crazy locations, and not giving up after the first half-dozen reschedules!

So, this is possibly a MORL precursor? Or, is it MORL without being called MORL? Despite varied literature I came across it's sort of muddled...at least to me. Especially, with this being a General Electric entry/submittal & them being out of the running by the time "MORL" was the common jargon. I think. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This has got to be the thickest, heaviest-weight photographic paper with a black & white image on it that I’ve ever come across. It rivals ANY of the heaviest-weight “A KODAK PAPER” (with color image) specimens.
