My wife is riding in the Great Cycle Challenge, which is a benefit for children's cancer research here in the United States. She's wearing her bib from last year in this photo. As part of the promotion, a photo of her and one of the children she is riding in honor or memory of are presented at the Times Square electronic billboard. This is the photo that she will be using for this year. You can learn more about the charity here: greatcyclechallenge.com/

Participants have their photographs displayed on NYC's Times Square main screen on August 21st as a way of promoting the ride (a different photo I took at the same time). More practice with glass and light. I would have been happier with these photos if there was a black background, but I still liked the reflections on the table and the centering of the flame/crystals.
What is Eid al-Adha?
At the end of the Hajj (annual pilgrimage to Mecca), Muslims throughout the world celebrate the holiday of Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice). In 2010, Eid al-Adha will begin on November 16th, and will last for three days.
During the Hajj, Muslims remember and commemorate the trials and triumphs of the Prophet Ibrahim(Abraham).
"It's a sad day when I have to use my storage room as a make-shift torture chamber. I used to have a torture chamber.....a proper torture chamber. To bad the cops found it. Now I am reduced to this, strapping a young lad down to a lawn chair in a back room full of mildew, mold, and sorrow. Then again, I do have all of my toys here. This location at least allows me to be creative with my procedures."
"Why are you telling me all of this?"
Oh!!! I forgot you were here. You've been so quite, I almost forgot what I was doing, HA HA. It seems I started thinking out loud again. Oh well, let's continue shall we?
"No, please, no more! I don't know where they keep the codes. I'm just an intern. I just got the job last Tuesday!"
"Eh, I'm not buying it............let's try the jumper cables!"
"Oh God please no...no...NO....NOOOOOO!"
*The Joker shocks the young man until he is almost unconscious*
"Now now boy, don't go a sleepin' on me now. You haven't given me I want yet."
"I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT YOU FUCKING LUNATIC!!!"
"Ooo, full of the vinegar I see. Got a lot of built up aggression do ya? Well, I can fix that."
'Wait, what are you doing? Please, stop, I don't know the codes."
"Calm down boy, I get that point. I've been torturing you for 3 hours now. If you knew them, you would have cracked by now. Unfortunately, that means you are completely useless to me. I'm afraid I must dispose of you."
"Please no, I won't tell anyone, I'll stay quit."
"Ha ha, we both know that is a fat lie, now hold still."
*Joker sprays the man with his toxin*
"There, maybe now you'll cheer up, ha ha."
"What did you do to me? What is happening to m...... Ha Ha... What, why am I...Ha Ha. I CAN'T STOP, HE HE HA HA HA HA, AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA Ha ha ha............
*Silence*
"Well, there goes my afternoon. Frank! Gonzo! Get in here and get rid of this space occupier before he starts to smell. Give him the Bud and Lou, they haven't been fed in a while, ha ha."

Another shot I took of my wife for her Great Cycle Challenge charity ride. This one is designed for facebook promotion and also for thank you letters she sends to business sponsors. I have another shot of her holding her hand out that she then adds the names of givers (assuming they don't wish to be anonymous) that she posts to facebook as a means of thanking friends and family for their support.

I've seen some bad stuff. Done some bad stuff. But Gotham and it's Gothamites... Wow... This place is a pit of despair and corruption... Ever since the Waynes were killed in Crime Alley, Gotham went downhill...
Wait, what the heck am I talking about? Delivering a speech to myself, what am I, crazy? Can't be associated with those nutjobs like Dent and Joker... I guess having to look out over the city just...
*shudders*
Anyway, at least there are some nice places. Like the building I am about to enter. Ok, heres the backstory, in case you were wondering... My employer, a.k.a the guy who wanted me to murder someone, a.k.a my paycheck, gave me the target not too long back. The target, James Matora, was some fancy rich guy. So of course, I checked his schedule on his official business page, and found out that he's attending a fundraiser. I studied the best point to take a shot from, and voila! Here I am, standing on top of the building in front of my set-up point.
I grappled across, and came to a halt in front of the window of my room (O.C, my employer, booked one for me). I grabbed one of my tools, and cut a hole in the window, big enough for me to enter. Once inside, I made sure I had a comfortable position to take the shot, by smashing out some more glass.
Yes! 9:03pm. In two minutes, I should have him driving past in his fancy-schmancy limousine. I quickly place my rifle down, and go over the essentials. Gun loaded? Yep. Need to take a wiss? Thankfully not. I've had some troubles in the past with that... Trajectory planned? Yep, got it. And what a great time. I finally see his car far out in the distance, on the empty roads (O.C had some stuff organized, such as clearing the roads, to ensure that everything would go according to plan) and I place my finger on the trigger. I check his position with my thermal vision to ensure I am aiming properly... I take a deep breath in to keep my scope steady, and I hear my heartbeat beating...

PHT!
I ricochet a bullet from my silenced rifle off a building, into the back window of the car. I hear the scream of the driver, and see the car screech to a stop. I turn on my thermal vision again... Success. Turning it off, I pack everything up, and place the rifle on my back. I walk out the door of my building, and make my way into the elevator. Arriving at the top floor, I grapple to another building, and another. My job is done, and my money is in the bank... Another shot on target. I never miss.

I forgot that BatmanBeyond had already made a Deadshot, so I used this... Hopefully that can be excused. I got another camera, not that you can tell by this crappy pic, so expect better quality. Anyway, th-th-th-th-that's all folks!
