A fun figure I threw together last night. Had a stroke of inspiration with the magnifying glass parts and the rest followed suit.

The set "Afterlife" is a work in progress. The idea is to find a combination between desolate landscape or background / nature photography and gasmask self portraits.

I feel so frustrated by the direction this country is going, by the growing opinion of our "leadership" that war is a preferable solution to discussion, that sound bytes and propaganda trump honesty and understanding, by the glorification of greed and power, by the gluttonous fattening of our children and our insatiable appetites to consume and throw away. A culture of convenience is a dangerous thing.
