West Sussex garlic, the outer skin of this variety is in tones of golden browns, not the cream variety you usually see in the greengrocers.

in the garden and very invasive... but they do make the prettiest tiny flowers... so I leave them and then I'll weed wack them down!!

Our woodlands are a wash with the sights and smell of wild garlic at this time of year and I managed to captured some in a small local wood in my home town.
Garlics believed can keep you away from the cuspids of vampires, if you make a necklace of garlics and wear it. But I also guess that the cupid doesn't want to bring you a mate, if you smells of garlics from that necklace.
