WISH YOU A MARVELLOUS WEEK .
Aménagé et navigable depuis le début du XXè siècle, le canal des Pangalanes est une suite de lagunes et de cours d'eau qui s'étire sur près de 700 Kms depuis Tamatave jusqu'à Farafangana parallèlement à l'océan Indien sur la côte orientale de Madagascar.
Treffpunkt für unseren Fotospaziergang war der Potsdamer Platz. Von dort ging es zur Philharmonie, dem Shellhaus zum Tempodrom danach Kreuzberg. Zurück zum Regierungsviertel, weiter zur Kongresshalle vorbei am Kanzleramt, entlang der Spree bis zu der unteren Brücke am Paul-Löbe-Haus. Am Hauptbahnhof war unser gemeinsamer Spaziergamg beendet.
Die weißen Kreuze stehen symbolisch für die Toten an der Berliner Grenze.

The meeting point for our photo walk was Potsdamer Platz. From there we went to the Philharmonie, the Shellhaus to the Tempodrom afterwards and to Kreuzberg. Back to the government district, on to the Congress Hall, past the Chancellery, along the Spree to the lower bridge at Paul Löbe House. Our walk ended at the main railway station.
The white crosses symbolise the dead on the Berlin border.

Le point de rencontre de notre promenade photographique était la Potsdamer Platz. De là, nous sommes allés à la Philharmonie, au Shellhaus, puis au Tempodrom et à Kreuzberg. Nous sommes retournés dans le quartier gouvernemental, nous avons continué jusqu'au Palais des Congrès, nous sommes passés devant la Chancellerie, nous avons longé la Spree jusqu'au pont inférieur de la Maison Paul Löbe. Notre promenade s'est terminée à la gare centrale.
Les croix blanches symbolisent les morts de la frontière berlinoise.

La gare de Brest est la gare ferroviaire terminus de la ligne de Paris-Montparnasse - Rennes - Brest, située en surplomb de la rade à proximité du centre de la ville de Brest, dans le département du Finistère, en région Bretagne. Elle est mise en service en 1865 par la Compagnie des chemins de fer de l'Ouest. C'est aujourd'hui une gare de la Société nationale des chemins de fer français (SNCF), desservie par le TGV et des trains express régionaux TER Bretagne.
Le Bâtiment des voyageurs, dont on voit ici la façade, est construit en 1936 et 1937 par Urbain Cassan dans le style Art déco. Il a été inscrit MH en 2018. fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gare_de_Brest

Brest station
Brest Train Station is the terminus railway station of the Paris-Montparnasse - Rennes - Brest line, located above the harbour near the center of the city of Brest, in the department of Finistère, in the Brittany region. It was commissioned in 1865 by the Western Railway Company. Today it is a station of the French National Railway Company (SNCF), served by the TGV (High speed train) and the regional express trains TER Bretagne.
The Passenger Building, whose front is shown here, was built in 1936 and 1937 by Urbain Cassan in the Art Deco style. It was inscribed MH (French National Heritage) in 2018.
La gare des Guillemins change de visage et se pare de couleurs chatoyantes. C’est le projet porté par le groupe belge Uhoda, en collaboration avec la SNCB, la ville de Liège, la Province de Liège et la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.
Si la gare des Guillemins est l’œuvre (d’art, dirons certains mais pour moi oui!) de l’architecte et plasticien espagnol Santiago Calatrava, c’est un autre artiste, français celui-ci, qui a la lourde tâche de sublimer le bâtiment: Daniel Buren. Il est à la fois peintre, sculpteur et plasticien, et est connu pour ses œuvres très colorées. L’une de ses plus récentes et remarquables créations est “L’Observatoire de la lumière”. En 2016, l’artiste français a recouvert les panneaux en verre qui composent le bâtiment de la Fondation Louis Vuitton de filtres colorés. Et c’est le même projet qu’il réalise à la gare des Guillemins. Cette œuvre éphémère sera visible durant un an.

The Guillemins station changes its face and is adorned with shimmering colors. This is the project led by the Belgian group Uhoda, in collaboration with the SNCB, the city of Liège, the Province of Liège and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
If the Guillemins station is the work (of art, some would say but for me yes!) of the Spanish architect and visual artist Santiago Calatrava, it is another artist, French this one, who has the heavy task of sublimate the building: Daniel Buren. He is a painter, sculptor and visual artist, and is known for his very colorful works. One of his most recent and remarkable creations is “The Observatory of Light”. In 2016, the French artist covered the glass panels that make up the Fondation Louis Vuitton building with colored filters. And it is the same project that he is carrying out at the Guillemins station. An ephemeral work will be visible for a year.
