It had begun to rain, it was getting dark and yet I was still there, at the edge of the lake, fascinated by that dance of drying and smoothing all that feathers like a game of seduction. But to seduce whom? The lake was deserted. There was no other duck around. Then, I understood. Under the rain, in the middle of nowhere, shivering with cold, I understood. I was the one seduced.
A pair of pronghorn bucks joust for fun on a warm summer morning. During the rut, these games take on a more serious tone as they compete for the right to court the ladies.

Last night we had a "blast". I so much enjoyed the company of some new friends. The weather was great, we even had a beautiful sunset, but what I liked the most was the lightpainting. It felt like outdoor games for adults. I did not want to stop. To me this is my coolest selfie ever.

Scattata ai Piani di Bosentino al mattino, quando il sole era ancora abbastanza basso. Per fare questa foto mi sono letteralmente sdraiato a terra, anche se poi ho tagliato il terreno in primo piano per creare una "falsa" panoramica. Per creare i raggi del sole mi è bastato chiudere il diaframma senza aggiungere bagliori con Photoshop.
Taken to the Piani of Bosentino in the morning when the sun was still low enough. To make this photo I was literally lying on the ground, even though I cut the ground in the foreground to create a "false" panorama. To create the sun's rays I just had to close the diaphragm without adding gleams with Photoshop.

The clouds are playing games again as BLE 906 lugs its train of limestone empties into Proctor yard. Luckily I did end up with this take just a second before the scene went dark.
