Old 1995 Kirby's Gameboy battery fix. I soldered in a new CR1616 battery, also reflowed solder on all the chips. Now I can save my progress with a new battery. After reflowing the solder on all chips, the colors look better, and the game has no more glitches.

This started as an oversized Gameboy cartridge, but quickly transformed into this anthropomorphic figure you see before you. I think it looks pretty good especially that mustache!

Also that is a pokeball cane Mr. Gameboy is sporting. ;)

I began photography late this year. I had always wanted to learn to use a DSLR, but been intimidated by their price and complexity. I took this shot of my beloved Gameboy on an empty playground for a photography class I took. Looking back on this year I believe it is the best shot I captured, and I am excited to share it as my submission for the YBSOpen22 group. I hope that you enjoy it and I would love any feedback or advice you may have to help me be a better photographer!

I'm very conflicted about this moc. On the one hand it turned out pretty well shape wise, and the shoulder buttons look great. On the other hand the d-pad is to large there are no start or select buttons and the blue bit in front of the shoulder buttons curves the wrong way. I will probably try to update this model in the future, but I don't know. I think this is the best picture. :)
