GORGEOUS GLORIOUS GREEN!
...
Peaches: um...Mom, I got a problem, green really isn't my favorite color. Sorry.
If I never come through
Yes it haunts me
Sunny days I'd miss you
Yes it haunts me
First you see it, then you feel it, now I'm caught
And we're making our own thing
Now I'm following you out to the coast
If I never come through
If I never come through
Don't tell me I lost a step
Criss-crossed in the wrong direction
Found myself in a conversation
From a missed connection
Standing there in a purple dress
Point my eyes in the right direction
Find myself in a conversation
From a missed connection
On Our Own Path
The path taken by the crowd might be safe, but Max and I have always loved carving our own trail. This is exactly what the Turkish idiom "Herkes gider Mersin'e, biz gideriz tersine" (Everyone goes to Mersin, we go the opposite way) is all about.
I asked Max, "Should we head to Mersin?" and he simply replied, "The opposite way!" Because the most beautiful views are always found by those who dare to deviate from the main road. 🐕🐾🌿
(Note: "Going to Mersin vs. going the opposite way" is a Turkish idiom that describes choosing the unconventional path and doing things differently from everyone else.)
Weekend Therapy in the Warmest Corner 🍂
After an incredibly busy and chaotic weekend, I threw myself into that special corner I call the "heart of the home." The crackle and warmth of the fireplace seem to wash away all my exhaustion.
Of course, two different worlds accompany me here: On one side, living up to his name (which means "lazy" in Turkish), Miskin is buried in his soft pillow, deep in sleep and completely lost in dreamland... 😴 On the other side, there is Yoda with his never-ending energy, jumping for my hand and wanting to play. One is the symbol of peace, the other of joy. An energy suspended in the air... 🐈💨
And I find serenity in the balance between these two. It’s the perfect moment just to stop and warm up. No matter how cold it is outside or how fast life moves, this no matter how fast life moves, this corner is my sanctuary.🔥🐾
I like to dress in earthy tones. Especially during the autumn and winter seasons, it is simple, natural, and attractive.

The Weekend Is Here: The Battlefield Is Ready! (The Foamy and Sparkly Kind) 🎉
My dear friends, my girls!
The moment we've been waiting for has arrived: T-H-E W-E-E-K-E-N-D! 🙌
But you know as well as I do that before these two days officially enter the dictionary definition of "rest," they require a little... action! The house is literally waiting for me with a stacked to-do list. The moment I walked through the door, the laundry basket (which is the textile version of Mount Everest), the kitchen (as if I'd fed an army all week), and those dust particles... they all shouted "Hello!" in unison.
Agenda items and my current mood:
Doing Laundry: I like this part, I admit! Throw it in the machine, that detergent smell... Wonderful. But the folding part? That's where I switch into "battle-weary" mode.
House Cleaning: Music up full blast! Time for cleaning while dancing. I'm like a modern, sweaty, and heavily caffeinated version of Cinderella. But the result: Sparkling clean! ✨
Cooking: My stomach is growling, the fridge is looking neglected. Time to invent something quick, delicious, and something that won't completely exhaust me before Saturday night couch time.
THAT DREADED CHORE: IRONING! 😩 Confession: I hate ironing. It's practically a type of meditation. A wrong, boring type of meditation. But what can we do, we can't walk around in wrinkled clothes. I guess the best thing is to put on my favorite series and accept ironing as a "brain resting" exercise... Maybe.
When this whole marathon is over, if I'm lucky, I'll finish the day without falling asleep in front of the TV. If it does happen, I'll just accept it as the victory of being completely exhausted! 😉
Well, sleeves up! The rest after all this hustle will be so much sweeter.
What's on your weekend agenda? Are there exhausting chores, or just pure joy? Let's chat in the comments!
Wishing everyone a Happy, productive, and ultimately very restful weekend!
Big hugs!

My flying soul 🎶
As the floating balloons inside me drift, I'm captivated by the magic of this moment. They are floating right in front of my eyes, as if each one carries the color of a dream of mine. The cigarette clutched between my lips slowly sends out the smoke of my dreams; with every breath, I become a little more free. The cello standing behind me is like a silent reflection of the music within me, its notes echoing in my soul. Everything comes together in this one moment; my soaring spirit, lost time, and the melody of eternity... This moment is my freedom. Defying the crowds of Istanbul, I have created a world within myself, and here, there is only me, my dreams, and my music.

One of the advantages of a lith two tray development is the possibility of a higher tonal separation of the shadows, especially with less detail in dark areas.

G-OOBH Boeing 757-236 TUI Airways heads a line of 3 TUI 737s awaiting departure @ Arrecife Airport, Lanzarote 15/03/2018
With freshly snow capped peaks of the Talkeetna Mountains standing above, Alaska railroad 4005 leads the AS&G gravel train down the siding at Matanuska junction to meet the northbound MEX. The peaks of these mountains were just about bare when we arrived the week prior to this and as you can see they got a good dumping of fresh snow in that week. The line to the right in the photo is the Palmer branch where the AS&G loads just a couple miles up the line and is the only train to traverse the branch these days. The mainline is out of view and hidden in the woods to the left. The AS&G and QAP gravel trains run in a 1x1 configuration these days cutting out the need for a shoving platform or a run around move even though the AS&G will still shove down from the load out using the wye here at the junction to prevent having to change ends.
