Man, 18-gauge may just be too thick for this crappy brake. I can't keep the pressing plate from moving when I start to bend it. I probably need to drill a pair of holes and bolt them together.

The green thing with orange logo is a fuzzface clone i made. PTP wiring, yo. Oh, and the RNC 1773 must not go unheeded. It is a really nice compressor. The Focusrite Voicemaster, while not a feature in the most world class of studios, served me majestically.
A Dunlop Jimi Hendrix BC109 Fuzz Face showed up used a few days ago. The seller said the price was so low because of damage to the box. Which...I mean, I guess. I hadn't planned to play through the box. Heh...
Anyway, despite having built quite a few Fuzz Face pedals, I've never actually owned a for-reals Fuzz Face. My first impression is that getting that center screw in the hole when you replace the back panel is harder than it seems.
My other initial reaction is, "Wow!" Heh...look at that. Looks like a vintage board, but there are bias trimmers underneath it. Original style 0Meg pots in those screwy values that you can never find. Vintage-looking transistors. And it sounds really cool. A lot like a Fuzz Face.

Rex is a sweet dog, full grown at less than 35 pounds, with moderate energy. He would make a wonderful pet for just about anyone who can be gentle and loving (rather than just playful and roughhousing) with their dog.
During this search to better understand myself I began to become more thankful for the things I do have and can currently obtain. For example friendships and how I can not only have it with people but also animals. It’s cool to think that we can establish relationships with things other than fellow humans. Over time we find ways to communicate with them and eventually grow to love and adore them. An animal that has had a lot of impact on my life is my cat Dot-D (as seen previously). She has been accompanying me for over a decade which makes it difficult to think of life without her sitting by my side. She stays with me when I do art, play games, clean, mostly everything. She even comes and finds me if I’m having a bad day and am off somewhere crying. Knowing she is getting so old it makes me consider more the mortality of our lives and friendships. I am very blessed to have been able to share so much time with her she has brought me much joy.
