This sweet girl was a friends dog. I used to take care of her when the family traveled. She passed away a few months ago from cancer. There was not a more happy go lucky dog on this earth than Miley. She was a Golden Retriever with a wiggle butt like no other. Love this girl.

Yeah I think it is time to spend our days outside more. Even a bit of rain is not going to spoil our fun.

I am a bit of a Pluviophile really. Be careful when you look that up.

This female River Otter finally gave up calling her young ones and started swimming away. She looks very upset and I imagine when the youngsters show up she will give them what for. I guess even these fun loving water clowns have their serious side too.

Wonderful people... honest, fun loving, hard working, enjoy life and beauty… existentialists...

The Black Hmong are the 3rd largest minority in Vietnam with nearly 900,000 people. In the Sapa region there are about 35,000 Black Hmong residing in the surrounding 17 villages and they account for about 50% of the area population. Most reside at an altitude of 1,600 – 1,700 meters above sea level in this stunningly beautiful region they call “the city above the clouds”. The Hmong started migrating to Vietnam from China in the last 300 years.

In this region about half the Hmong are Catholic and half animistic. They live of the land growing rice and corn and they all believe in the spirits.

I realised the other day that I could only think of a few people who actually know me. Like I know heaps of people, but I only really reveal my true personality to a select few. So in a way, I feel like I have two sides. There's the shy person who almost everyone thinks I am and then there's the outgoing, funloving, talkative person that my family and close friends know, and I think I'm ok with that. Now that i'm in my second last year of high school I'm beginning to accept that i'm not comfortable being loud and chatty in public and that the people who stick by me and accept that I have a reserved personality are the people worth being friends with.

So yeah, I know this is bad but that's just what it means :)

Portuguese Water Dogs once served as crew on fishing trips, retrieving lost gear and herding fish into nets. Today, this dog breed makes for a fun-loving family companion—represented by Bo Obama, former First Dog of the U.S.—who still retains their intelligence and love of the water, not to mention the webbed feet, that made them so valuable to their human family.

Hello my summer bunnies. I want to thank each and every one of you who has commented, liked, messaged me here, but also to those of you who subscribed to my You Tube channel. It's nearly a year since I started uploading on YT again after a four year hiatus. I was never one to post a 'goodbye' or 'I'm leaving' video as I thought I would regret that later, and I have always wondered the motivations for those that do such a thing. It has been a year of growth. As I came to terms with those who no longer wanted me in their lives, I also came to terms with who and what I wanted in my life. Strangely, the missing component was ME - i.e. this 'Rachel' side of me that I had compromised for nearly four years. Of course, I was featured on two videos on another channel when I met one of my friends, but such meetings were few and far between, and so a joint video in 2017 and 2019 was all I had linked to my channel. I guess friends thought I had given up too and it would have been hard to disagree. For those of you who support me and would love to do what I do, I have a simple thing to say - go do it! Life is short and I don't tolerate any form of BS in my life. I have always been a gentle, well meaning funloving person. I take joy in other people's successes. I am not jealous. I believe in live and let live. I believe anyone has the right to disagree with me and have a different view. As for t-girling, I know a number of comments suggest that I am not convincing / I can't walk in high heels / I am not as good as XYZ person.....none of this is important to me. All I am concentrating on is being the best version of me. I cannot help the fact that I did not upload 'Rachel' content in four years, but I am making up for lost time now, and not in any act of desperation...I am truly loving these experiences and they are a joy to share with you. Please give these videos some love! Finally, I just want to say that as I am living like this four to five days a week, I am moving towards getting my name legally changed to Rachel Louise Swann. After I went out for my first solo outing in four years on June 9th 2020, I discussed changing my name with a friend, who suggested maybe not to do so as it creates problems in many areas. But I have shown this is not a whim or a phase, and I feel is the next step for me. Let me know what you think. Should I go ahead and do it?! Wishing you all the love in the world. xxx
