Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy (C)Inaugurat the construction work for Kochi Metro Rail at Kochi on Friday.

Built in 1913, this building, which has functioned since its construction as a bowling alley, was heavily altered in 1934 when Woodward Avenue was widened, requiring the removal of the front of the building, and was further modified during a renovation in 1966, which saw the installation of the present Modern metal facade. The building is clad in a metal panel facade system, with a large script sign on the front facade, a modified first floor facade, and brick side and rear facades. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. The building today remains in use as a bowling alley.

Reminisce the hits of the 90's, 80's and the 70's but not over the radio but by visiting this newly opened restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City. Reminisque Bistro open it's doors a few months ago (July 30, 2015), to provide a venue for adult professionals and yuppies who are craving for some straight-up, comfort grub with the distinct feel of hometown goodness.

What a fantastic evening it was, full of festivity, glamour and charm. The function started with President Dr.Ashok welcoming all and then reading the message of Charter Member and Past President Rtn.Babulal Todi (who could not attend due to some unforeseen circumstances) giving the detailed history of our Club and the purpose of celebrating the Charter Day. Then came the turn of evergreen Charter Members & PP.Sultan Fazelbhoy, who spoke about the activities of Club in his year of Presidency 1977-1978. Rtn.Yash Kale, in his own immaculate style introduced the Chief Guest Dist.Governor Prafull Sharma and the First Lady Vidyottama Sharma. Fellowship Chair Rtn.Kamal Lakhotia then started the Felicitation Ceremony beginning with the Charter Members & then Past Presidents followed with Honorary Members. The activity of each year of respective Presidents were shown by way of a PPT presentation alongwith a few pictures. DG.Prafull in address applauded the work done by Bombay North and Congratulated the Charter Members, Past Presidents, Honorary Members & all the members present and declared our Club as one of the top 3 Clubs in Dist.3141. Secretary Rukhsana Khan gave her secretarial report and PE.Sanjiv Kulkarni proposed the Vote of Thanks.

And finally, it was the Celebration time by cutting the 56th Charter Nite Cake by Charter Member Sultan Fazelbhoy, DG.Prafull and the Past Presidents. Dr.Palep opened the Champagne celebrating his 50th marriage anniversary.

Everyone then came on the floor dancing on the tunes of ‘Band Rutbaa’ by Vicky & Anuja. On the whole a most memorable event. The Cocktail and sumptuous dinner was enjoyed by all. The pictures below will show the mood of happiness.

Whilst the Gellert baths featured a wonderful art deco environment, the changing rooms felt just a little more utilitarian in design, a design remnant from days gone by under the iron curtain.

I-Function consists of 11 wooden crates filled with hay. Each crate contained speakers and text light boxes. The signal was split into different frequency paths creating a textural and moving aural experience.
