Work. Don(HWC) was in the area which I was suppose to meet up but didn't go as planned. Next time of course. Stopped by Fully Laced to grab a new toy and chill for a bit. Only Mike & Jose were working today but it was cool. Always nice to catch up. Whenever I go to Fullylaced, I'm always taking photos. Mike(photo shown above) and I always talk about cameras and him having a album cover. I believe this is number five, but I lost count already. The White Cement III's he has in his hand is Mindy's which she got for a steal.

fully laced X the hundreds

Last night I ended up sleeping pretty late so I was running on about two to three hours of sleep today so I was tired. Had one morning class like usual. Afterwards hit up Arthur to go shoot around San Francisco. Since Arthur has never actually went to some of the places I go shoot, I decided to show him some great spots. After shooting, we got hungry and decided to eat in little Italy at some random pizza joint. The food was decent but it was nice for a change. Talked and enjoy ourselves since it was a nice day but windy. I hit up Steven since he wanted to shoot for a while. Waited at Westfield Shopping Mall for Steven. Shot around until Arthur had to go to Berkeley since he had some errands to do. Steven and me ended up at Embarcadero. Since he had his Polaroid, I got to see some photos develop considering Steven shots film in general.

I got a call from Jon asking if I was able to shoot some photos of Evan and Jon himself doing an interview and of course I couldn't pass that up. Headed out to Stonestown to rest until Jon and Mel showed up. Stopped by this crepe place which was close by Adapt and it was pretty bomb. Met Mel's brother and he too as well are into photography and shoots film. The interview with Evan went well and it was great to hear a story unfold from Jon on how his life, work, and Fully Laced have come a long way. After several hours at Adapt, got dropped off at Bart thanks to Jon and Mel. The ride home went well after a long exhausting day. On a side note, I started to shot vertically.

Today I woke up around 11 a.m. I decided instead of waking up around 9 a.m., I'd get more sleep in since I have been sleeping late these past few days. I had work again at 4 p.m. Driving towards San Francisco, the clouds were just beautiful, I tell you. I will repeat this over and over; I never ever get tired of taking photographs of the clouds. The way its shape and form change over time and it's never the same and works in mysterious ways. Since Mindy and I had an hour of free time before work, we decided to get Tea Way. I believe my addiction for popping bobba and Tea Way in general has greatly grown and I can't stop, I mean who wouldn't? During the time getting our Tea Way, it was a bit crowded but managed to get through fine. Headed out to Fully Laced and had work until 9 p.m.

My hours working at Fully Laced went by somewhat quick since it was more laughter than work. Their was a game were you would stand on the ladder and balance on two legs rather then all four the longest. Of course Mike won and I lost. A few heads came to the store and said hello such as Ant, Annie and Sean. I haven't seen them in a long time and finally met Ant finally. We decided to stop by Starbucks in San Bruno I believe and wait for Karl since he was down here. Since it was windy and cold, we decided to stop by Karl's place for a while to catch up and play Modern Warfare 3. Ant and his girlfriend left after a while and so did Mindy & I. My younger brother Rhandy found an puppy in the backyard and didn't have a collar or anything. He wanted to keep it but he's looking for a owner or anyone who wants a puppy.

I decided to do a panoramic photo for my 366 entry since I actually never did one inside the store in general I believe. I was going for a different perspective view along with something different. It helps me challenge myself.

When I first had the idea of doing A Day In Your Life Project, I must admit, it has serval results for each person I have done. To be honest, I am planning on stopping this project temporary until I believe it's best to start again. I know for a fact I have a list of people that would like to be apart of it and I am very flattered. I had high expectations and quite frankly about 50% was only given back when I was aiming higher. I could of ended this with a bang, but I actually didn't want to do that because I knew this wasn't the last person nor the end. For now, I'm taking a break from it. With that being said, I'm just going to move forward and see the outcome.

Day in Your Life 008 presents my good friend Karl Orotea. I choose Karl for a few reasons. For a young age, I must say he's been through majority of obstacles in his life. Karl shall be atteneding University of Irvine this coming Fall. One main reason was the fact Karl is going to be going away for college. Some of my friends went to serve our country while others either moved or went out of state college. It's one of those steps in life you make these choices to embark the "Real World" as others would say. Thats life in general. Some of these choices you either still keep in touch or you lose relationships and friendships. I see it happen all the time. Again, that's life in general, you make choices.

The day started off during the afternoon after I had to run errands and deal with some school issues and such. Afterwards, dropped by Fully Laced to drop off Mindy to work and chilled for a while. Jose and Brandon were working today and Brandon brough his dog Ziggy to the store. Ziggy was pretty dope that he could do tricks along with understanding the word bacon. Afterwards, headed out to Burlingame to meet up with Karl & met his friend Janna. Since I never been to the Fatlace Padlock before, we decided to stop by their first. since Karl knew the workers over their we chilled for a while. Met Todd who was working behind the counter and asked us if we wanted some It's It ice cream. That was the first time we were offered anything for meeting someone the first time. Very chill place to work really.

Headed to San Mateo to meet up with Sean and met his girlfriend Tiff. Chilled and caught up on a few things and found out that Sean gave his car to Tiff since Sean was getting a new car. Tiff's car was leaking so Sean was their for awhile fixing it. At that time, we were all discussing what to eat since we were craving some food since that is what Karl does best, have these food adventures. Afterwards, headed back to Karl's place to eat, relax and talk. Karl's sister had a very nice collection of vintage and film cameras which is always nice to see. Since Mindy got off work at five, I headed back to Fullylaced to pick her up and head back to Karls. Chilled and played Black Ops and found out that Karl is Pro at quickscoping.

Waited for Relle to go out on another food adventure around San Mateo. Ended up eating at some good Ramen joint and met up with Sean. Afterwards, we walked and headed towards Teaway and man this place is really good. Teaway is a self service milk tea joint and you can pretty much add what toppings you desire on your drinks. I ended up getting majority of all the toppings, but their was this topping which was popping boba and I never had it. Probably enjoy that one the most. Chilled, relax and played with the exploding bobas because we had the time of our lives with it. While walking back to the cars, I ended up having popping bobas explode at walls and resturants which was really pro and funny. Tried some rolling shots with Sean's car.

A lot of people say their lives are boring or not as thrilling and exciting as others, but the best times you have are with just good company. Those memories you build with one another shall last a life time and thats what it was really about today. Since I know Karl was leaving for school and I probably won't see him for a while, I was just happy enough to chill with him for the day and see what it was really like regardless if his days consist of playing Black Ops. It was nice meeting Janna & Sean's girlfriend Tiff. Nice seeing and chilling with Relle but most importantly thank you Karl for chilling and having a pretty chill day really. Good luck with everything in the future homie, until next time.

Today I woke up earlier than usual because I start my official first day working at Fully Laced! The day started off waking up around 9 a.m. I checked my phone for any last minute updates and then played Modern Warfare 3 for a while. Since I didn't start until 4 p.m. I decided to check videos and blogs for more inspiration. Not only do I enjoy half the day, I get to keep up with the daily, which is great. Got ready and since Mindy and I work the same shifts, we decided to take Bart & bus because I didn't want to deal with traffic which I tend to hate a lot. Which waiting for our Bart train, Mindy and I were stopped by Robert who was a fan or our work/blogs which was pretty cool.

We arrived earlier then expected so Mindy got her Starbucks and then headed to Fully Laced. Again the day started off earlier then what was suppose to be expected but I rather be early and show a good first impression on the job. It not only shows you can be early for something important, but shows character in many different ways. Mel, was training me for the most part along with Zalo, Steph, & Sharon. Got some advice from Kathy & Jose as well, basically the Fully Laced team. Through out the day, it was very chill. I also had some visitors that stopped by, Brandon Ryan, Derrick and some new faces as well. I stayed until closing with Mel, Steph, Mindy & Zalo. When we were leaving and the lights dimmed down, not only did I see Fully Laced from a different perspective view, I never actually photographed Fully Laced when no one is around. After work, met up Tommy, Arylnne, Ralph, and Staci at The Spot for a few drinks. Mindy was hungry so she ordered a bowl of spicy noodles. Talked and caught up with one another even though it was short. After Mindy got done eating, we stopped by Tea Way and got dropped off at Bart thanks to Zalo. All in all, I am blessed and thankful for days like this.

Woke up around 7 a.m. since I had to work the morning shift until 5 p.m. Since the Niners won over the weekend, work was pretty busy at times. Customers came in like waves over time but is always good for business. At the end of my shift, Jon came by with some new items for the store. One in particular was a San Francisco 49er's Jerry Rice autographed snap back, which was really cool. Although it wasn't authenticated, you can easily tell he signed it. Ryan stopped by Fully Laced as well and he let me borrow his Pokemon Gold since I've been trying to get back most of my Gameboy Pokemon games. Afterwards decided to go home since Mindy and me were tired.

I was planning on going doing a different 366 entry but when Jon came in with the Jerry Rice signed snap back along with other old school Niners gear, I already knew this was going to be my 366 entry. As a kid, my dad was a true die-hard 49ers fan. You can say it ran in the family. I think what makes it very special in way was the fact that I was born in San Francisco and raised in the Bay Area my whole life. I have photos of me in 49ers gear as a child so actually seeing all the old school Niners gear brought it back. It really means a lot, really does. I'm pretty sure; I'm not the only one who feels this way.

What a tiring, but extraordinary day it was. Started off the day by heading out to Treasure Island for the second day in a row since they were having a flea market. This was my first time going to a flea market on Treasure Island so I excited to see what they had. Since Brandon and Val were there before us, we met up with them and explored the rest of the flea market with them along with Ziggy and Pepper. I ended up finding a 1989 newspaper with Michael Jordan on the cover which was pretty cool. It's not everyday you find stuff like that. Mindy ended up getting this vintage coach purse and Brandon ended up getting a vintage San Francisco Giants jacket. Since we were hungry, they had a good amount of food trucks lined up. I saw The Chairman and since I heard good reviews, I always wanted to try it. Their food was pretty bomb but a bit more than other food truck prices. Afterwards, I had a meet up around 1 p.m. so we decided to meet later on at the Adapt grand opening since it was going on as well.

Headed out to Westlake and met up with Jesse who was selling me his Forza 4 for a decent price, thanks Jesse. Afterwards we headed out to the grand opening of Adapt. The location is pretty cool considering he lives right above it, which makes it very convenient. Saw a bunch of familiar and new faces. Senior Sisig was there to provide food. Got to chill at the deck and some what had a small tour of the house. Since Even was super busy, I was still fortunate enough to get a photo of everyone who came out during the time I was there. Since I had work at 4 p.m., headed out to Fully Laced and made it in time. Had work until closing with Mike, Zalo, Jenn, and Mindy was there for company. It was probably one of the more chill days at the store. After work, stopped by Trader Joe's and after figuring out what to do, decided to go to Brandon and Val's place to eat, watch t.v. and play N64. All in all, a very long tiring, but eventful day.

Another work day until closing with Mike and Cliff. Work was pretty chill. Got a bunch of enw items in at Fullylaced. After work, stopped by Teaway to meet up with Nate and Reg. I met both of there friends Ginger and Tom as well. Chilled and caught up with one another until Mindy and me decided to head back home. As for my 366 entry, I havent really took any pictures of the Campbell's Andy Warhol Tomato Soup edition. Decided to make a wallpaper for fun. Not best, but did a simple one.

If this year wasn't a leap year, today would mark my second time completing this project. I shall go more into detail tomorrow as I complete my 366 project. After work, headed out to the yearly Kingpin Disco in Daly City. Nothing but good company and vibes. Overall had a blast and can't wait for next year.

After a week off from work, finally back to work. Had work in the afternoon with Mike, Brandon, and Jose. Brandon had brought along Ziggy, which was cool since I haven't seen Ziggy in a while. Not to mention, Jon and Jay stopped by as well. Around 5 p.m. Brandon and Jose were off work and it was Mike and me. Steph had stopped for a whole since she was working on a few things and to chill at the store. We had new products that came in from Stussy. Steph insisted that I go all out with Stussy's outfit and of course I did for fun. After a while, Steph decided to head out and it was Mike and me. Work was pretty chill closing. Mike and me were discussing and coming up with ideas for my blog in general. It's always nice to have opinions whether it's good or bad. After work, I wanted to go night shooting but decided to head home. On my way home, it was a bunch of traffic since Bart was closed due to a massive fire. All in all a great day. As for the my 366 entry, it was taken by Mike.

Not that many photos for today. Did an oil change in the morning. I had work in the afternoon at 2 p.m with Mindy, Brandon, & Annie. Mindy and Brandon went on a Deadly Sins Labbit opening spree. We only had one box and its completely gone which is cool because we ended up getting all except one which one customer bought. Closed Fully Laced with Mike. I was pretty tired so headed straight home to chill, eat, and watch the Olympics. As for my 366 entry for today, a simple photo of the Deadly Sins Labbit.

I ended up sleeping very late last night learning, watching, and reading about a few pointers on post production. I plan to challenge and work harder on myself to become better at what I do. I woke up around 10 a.m. and got ready since I had another workday. Since Mindy & I have the same work schedule, I decided to drive and leave before 3 o clock. That way I end up paying four dollars rather then six dollars. Since we got to Stonestown early, Mindy & I decided to eat sushi at the food court. Afterwards we had work until 9 p.m. A few people stopped by and visited Fully Laced during my work hours such as John, Kay K., and Eric. I also got some good tips while working with Mike of course. I named today's entry Comparable because it's almost similar as yesterday, but a few differences of course.

The selected photo for 003 is something I saw by accident. While cleaning and folding clothes, I saw the Undftd sign reflect off the glass display which I never seen it before. I knew I had to take a photo of the sign; otherwise I was going to forget. One thing about taking photographs over and over in a same location or place, it challenges you to find different angles and perspective fews. Just another way of bettering yourself.

Had class like usual. After class, headed to meet up with Ron for the check and head out to his place. While on the way, Ron had to pick up his friend Anna. Chilled & put the wedding pictures on the CD. Got dropped off at Balbo Bart and got kinda of lost since I never actually took this station before. I was looking for the Muni train but I kept getting lead to Bart so I just said forget it and took Bart to Daly City which was one station away. Waited for the bus and stopped by Stonestown to visit & chill at Fullylaced. After being on the laptop for a while, Jon stopped by and we finally got to discuss some future opportunities which was what I needed and wanted to hear. At 6, Mindy was off and my friend Derek stopped by and talked for a bit. Took bus & Bart back home. All in all, pretty chill relaxing day.

Happy Leap Day all. Leap year happens I believe every four years or so. Had the usual workday from 4 p.m. until closing. Work was somewhat busy considering Fully Laced had its Spring-cleaning sale. Closed with Mike, Steph, and Mindy. Work is always great closing with them and always entertaining. After work, I was planning to go to Embarcadero to go shoot, but it wasn't the right type of weather I was aiming for considering no clouds or some light drizzle. Days like these were you want to shoot, you can rush them. Be patient because you have other days to shoot, it's just a matter of time. For my 366 entry, having a wide-angle lens gives you a different perspective view every time no matter how many times you have photographed something. My wide-angle lens is growing more to be my favorite lens and I'm slowing neglecting my other two lenses. I only use my other two lenses when it is needed. I'm still content with my 24-70mm F/2.8 but I feel the need to sell for a third brand 24-70mm F/2.8 and a macro lens. Possibly even a macro tele lens.
