Fort Jefferson at the Dry Tortugas National Park off the western coast of Key West Florida. Construction was begun in 1846 and never technically finished. Used as a military prison during the Civil War and was basically of little value by the late 1880's. It became a National Park in 1992. Access is only by ferry, seaplane, or private boat.

Ft Lauderdale and Las Olas captured from the 10th floor of the

Hyatt Regency Pier 66 at 2301 S.E. 17th Street , Fort Lauderdale, FL .

Ft. Bragg

A pair of empty coal trains head North at Tower 55 in Ft. Worth in July of 1985. One is a MKT train, the other Burlington Northern. On the rear of the Katy train with FPPX hoppers is Union Pacific bay window #24501 (ex-Rock Island #17083)

Bringing up the rear of the UFIX cars on the BN train is extended vision #10088 still painted in Big Sky Blue and lettered for the Great Northern!

Birding slowed considerably on Wed and was almost non-existent early Thursday before we had to leave.

Still had one of my best overall visits to Ft Desoto.

Partaking in the Instameet for National Park Week at Ft. Pulaski.

The Renault FT, which is so famous that you don't need me to explain what this is, was still massively used in 1940 in the french army (1700 were still in service in reserve groups). When germans pierced the allied defence line a lot of these tanks were sent to contain panzer divisions but their canons were ineffective and couldn't pierce any panzer from the front, they were still very slow as well and their armor could barely block MG fires. This engagement cost the live of many french tanker since most of them were simply destroyed without being able to resist in any way.

This model is basically Brickmania one with the camoflage I usually use and some decals that were often applied on Ft's from 1940.

Also I'm a bit late for this picture since I am really busy these times, This vehicle marks the end of my first wave of vehicles, I already built some of the second wave but I'll take a little break before posting them since they are more expensive to do, I also took pictures of some of my older models because they were rather bad but now half of them are better (I will do the rest when I'll have some time). ^^

Portland Bill Lighthouse, Portland Bill, Dorset.

Portland Bill is a narrow promontory (or bill) of Portland stone at the southern end of Isle of Portland, and the southernmost point of Dorset, England.

Portland Bill Lighthouse, was built in 1906 and is 35 metres (115 ft) high.
