Taken last week during a walk around my backyard. :)

I have lived almost my entire life in areas that had cold winters, with plenty of snow and ice. I can't remember many times that I've seen frost so thick on the trees. I thought this was a good winter take on the cliché looking up through the tree branches photo.

It had rained briefly while it was still dark and then the temperature dropped freezing the water droplets covering the plants etc. I was a bit late getting out there but I was just in time to catch the last of the ice before the suns warmth melted it all away.
