J.G. Bennett:
"From the scientific point of view it is now very likely that there will be again another Ice Age, quite soon, in the world; that we shall have the north part of the world all frozen like it used to be, and we're beginning to have natural disasters.
From the scientists' study it seems likely that we should soon begin to have these great changes in the earth's climate so people will not be able to live where they have, and the oceans will rise, and many cities will be flooded, like London, and Calcutta, and so on.
These things, they say, will happen, according to scientific theory, in about forty years at the most, but maybe even quicker."
When the night shows
The signals grow on radios
All the strange things
They come and go, as early warnings
Stranded starfish have no place to hide
Still waiting for the swollen Eastern tide
There's no point in direction
We cannot even choose a side
I took the old track
The hollow shoulder, across the waters
On the tall cliffs
They were getting older, sons and daughters
The jaded underworld was riding high
Waves of steel hurled metal at the sky
And as the nail sunk in the cloud
The rain was warm and soaked the crowd
Lord, here comes the flood
We'll say goodbye to flesh and blood
If again the seas are silent
In any still alive
It'll be those who gave their island to survive
Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry
When the flood calls
You have no home, you have no walls
In the thunder crash
You're a thousand minds, within a flash
Don't be afraid to cry at what you see
The act is gone, there's only you and me
And if we break before the dawn
They'll use up what we used to be
Lord, here comes the flood
We'll say goodbye to flesh and blood
If again the seas are silent
In any still alive
It'll be those who gave their island to survive
Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry
Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry

David Byrne (born 14 May 1952) is a Scottish-American singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, writer, music theorist, and filmmaker. He was a founding member and the principal songwriter, lead singer, and guitarist of the American new wave band Talking Heads.
Brian Eno (born 15 May 1948) born as Brian Peter George St John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno RDI is a British musician, composer, record producer and visual artist best known for his contributions to ambient music and work in rock, pop and electronica. A self-described "non-musician", Eno has helped introduce unique conceptual approaches and recording techniques to contemporary music. He has been described as one of popular music's most influential and innovative figures.
Robert Fripp (born 16 May 1946) is a British musician, songwriter, and record producer, best known as the guitarist, founder and longest-lasting member of the progressive rock band King Crimson. His compositions often feature unusual asymmetric rhythms, influenced by classical and folk traditions. His innovations include a tape delay system known as Frippertronics and new standard tuning.
Maybe three of the best musical geniuses of the last times. Not in a way as the stars align, they were born in three successive days.
Fripp and Eno, Eno and Byrne, Byrne and Fripp collaborated through their vast careers, but they worked together only in the Talking Heads' album Fear of Music. Robert Fripp played the guitar on I ZImbra. The album was co-produced by Eno and Talking Heads.
As the sun started to set it dipped behind a smallish cloud causing this shadow to be cast. I found it interesting so I attempted to capture the moment.

I think people shots are a bit of a weakness of mine, photographically speaking, so am going to make a concerted attempt to try to take a few more. With a view to that, I persuaded my daughter to come with me for a little photo shoot during the week, after we'd dropped her brother at football training.
Music is very important to her, so I felt one of her guitars would make a great prop. We both quite like this shot, and she thinks it would be cool as an album cover.
