Ein unscheinbarer Nebeneingang eines Hamburger Kontorhauses zeigte mir heute diese kleine Perle. Recht hübsch wie ich finde! Von unten in die Höhe fotografiert. Mehr dazu im neuen Jahr, denn oben war ich natürlich auch.

An inconspicuous side entrance of a Hamburg office building showed me this little pearl today. Quite pretty I think! Photographed high up from below. More on that in the New Year, because of course I was up there too.

Another use for my Meyer lemons..a photography prop. They only harvest once a year and I got quite a few...squeezed tons and froze the juice into ice cube trays, to use later in salad dressings and baking . I love their sweetness and they are less sour than plain lemons. Organic, too!

Another one from our holiday in the Lakes, but this time it's flowers, not a landscape! Spotted these lovely Welsh poppies and wild garlic (ramsen) flowers in a hedgerow just after a shower of rain and couldn't resist them. I hope you like them too!

Was happy to catch this guy on this freshly leafed out red maple last week. This is my favorite time of year, and it's a race against time to capture as many photos as possible before the trees completely leaf out and the forests become too dark.
