The wheel turns... the days get colder and the nights longer. Winter is just around the corner and the urge to snuggle down and fight the oncoming darkness gets stronger and stronger. A bracing dog-walk then home to the comforts of a roaring fire and the warm rich smell of freshly baked fruit cake and strong fresh-brew coffee are an ever-present defence against the onslaught of the colder months.
Drinking freshly brewed Cona coffee and listening to old 78s on a windup gramophone by the rich warm glow of an oil lamp — a lovely cosy and relaxing way to spend the evening.

What better way to brighten up a cold and gloomy winter's day than some delicious chocolate fudge cake and freshly brewed coffee?
Homemade coffee cupcakes and fresh brew coffee — someone won't be sleeping anytime soon! The combination of clear glass and polished chrome made for some lighting challenges — there's a lot going on off-stage to control the light, reflections and highlights. A polarising filter cut some of the unwanted reflections plus enhanced the colour tones in the wood and cakes. White reflectors are used to catch highlights in the glass and chrome and black card is strategically placed to control the incoming light. At the Tokyo Dome, one of the cleanest stadiums I have ever visited, there are young women who walk around loaded down with salty and sweet treats. You can have a glass of saki, a shot of whisky or a coke. But what intrigued me most was that they carry a container on their backs filled with draft beer and she can turn on a spigot and pour you a glass of the frothy brew right at your seat!!
This is the first M.A.C. lipstick I've ever purchased & I love it. This nude color is great alone with a brown lip-liner or underneath your favorite sheer glosses. I don't know what I'm gonna do when this little baby runs out.
