Irish Rail 071 class engine 085 in charge of the morning IWT service from Dublin Port (circa 0930 hrs ) to Ballina, a short stop at Athlone ( above ) for a driver change.
The backbone of this liner is tanker concentrate from the Coca Cola production facility in Ballina.
General Motors class 071, 084 at the helm of the 10.05 hrs Ballina to Dublin Port IWT freight arriving into the North Wall.
Today, along with the various containers is General Motors class 201, 228 which had failed & was being returned to the Irish Rail works at Inchicore for repair.
A nice treat to get a double header.
Its not everyday you can walk around a Jumbo, but when it comes to the Farnborough air show, you can walk around, under & even into the CargoLogicAir Boeing 747, recently delivered to them, seen at the show in 2016.
This is G-CLAB, a Boeing 747 freighter with one serious BIG MOUTH.
For the day thats in it, CLdn Line aptly named " Valentine " .

The British Rail class 325, built by ABB at Derby Litchurch Lane Works, solely to carry for Royal Mail, a total of 16 sets were built.
Passing through Crewe, headed by 325016 with 325007 at the rear, each set is made up of 4 unconnected unmanned carriages DTVA-PMV-TAV-DTVB, each with 4 roller shutters.
I love the large round oleo buffers, reminds me of the old CIE AEC Park Royals.

Do you know the name "Lifschultz Fast Freight"? Lifschultz Fast Freight was a freight forwarder and trucking company headquartered in Chicago. I first encountered Lifschultz Fast Freight when viewing classic photos of the Erie's Manhattan freight terminal on 28th Street in New York City. There was a catchy red and white sign saying "Lifschultz Fast Freight - Chicago - Milwaukee." Lifschultz trucks and signage also show up in 1950s-1970s era photos of the large Erie freighthouse south of Dearborn Station and the leads to Dearborn / LaSalle south of Roosevelt Road.
Imagine my surprise when I was looking out the window of an Amtrak train from Milwaukee to Chicago in April 2015 and I saw this red Lifschultz Fast Freight trailer sitting in a lot. I caught a few quick photos from the train window on my return trip. This lot is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Kedzie Avenue and Grand Avenue in Chicago, just west of the Metra Western Avenue Yard.
If you look at the site in Google Maps Street View on Kedzie Avenue, you can see the end of the trailer over the masonry wall, with "Lifschultz" blurrily visible.

It started the journey from Karachi port eleven months ago and reached at its destination in mid-September at a speed of about 5 km/hr.
Three machines have been imported to meet the electricity shortage.
It will produce 165 megawatt using furnace oil.
Each machine weighs 300 tonnes and costs about Rs.300 million.
One of the machines has been damaged due to poor road conditions.
The special type carriers having 144 wheels each are borrowed/hired from Dubai/Italy etc.
Rs.2 million has been paid to NHA etc. for removing overhead sign board, reinforcing weak bridges and on account of toll tax etc
