A very old solid oak door that we obtained for free from a tear down nearby, the ownners of the tear down are building an all new house and don't want this door and another one, so I grabbed them because they just don't make solid oak doors like this anymore.
The other door is a spruce door that needs a bit of restoration but nothing that can't be fixed with a little elbow grease and a few hours work.
This heavy oak door just needs to be stripped and refinished and have some new hardware installed on it.
I love free stuff like this that can be saved and reused for years to come. (:>)

I left at 7:30am for my 4km walking loop starting by hiking over Mt. Tolmie
Having my hand-clippers with me found me clearing small branches and blackberry bushes from single track trails.
The latter activity added another 30-minutes to my otherwise 1:15:00 outing.
It was a wonderful walk on a wonderful morning
