Dear Minister Hummelgaard, I am writing to you from Italy.
Denmark has a proud history of defending human rights and justice. Now is the time to take the right side to protect the environment and free Captain Paul Watson. This situation has gone on too long and Captain Watson is innocent.
Don't make yourselves complicit with Japan. The international community and also Italy are informed through the press of the injustice against an elderly and meritorious environmental activist such as Paul Watson.

La Danimarca ha una gloriosa storia di difesa dei diritti umani e della giustizia. Ora è il momento di schierarsi dalla parte giusta per proteggere l'ambiente e liberare il Capitano Paul Watson. Questa situazione è durata troppo a lungo e il Capitano Watson è innocente.

Dopo l'udienza di ieri, ancora una volta è prorogata la detenzione di Paul Watson in Groenlandia, fino al 2 dicembre.
Criminale non è Paul che ha difeso le balene, i delfini, la fauna marina, ma chi come il Giappone ha continuato a cacciare le balene nonostante tutte le moratorie internazionali. Vergogna anche alla Danimarca, che si rende complice di questa ingiustizia.
After yesterday's hearing, Paul Watson's detention in Greenland has once again been extended until December 2nd.
The criminal is not Paul who defended whales, dolphins, marine fauna, but those like Japan who continued to hunt whales despite all the international moratoriums. Shame also on Denmark, which is complicit in this injustice.

Paul Watson Remanded to 18 Dec.
Today, on Paul Watson's 74th birthday, we held onto hope. We believed Denmark would choose justice and gift Paul with his rightful freedom. However, once again, the court has remanded him, now to December 18th, pending a decision from the Minister of Justice.
When will this end? Paul has dedicated his life to protecting our oceans, and he deserves a fair trial—one that would undeniably prove his innocence.
We stand united in our demand for justice. It's time for Denmark to hear us loud and clear: #FreePaulWatson now!

Oggi, nel giorno del 74° compleanno di Paul Watson, ci siamo aggrappati alla speranza. Credevamo che la Danimarca avrebbe scelto la giustizia e avrebbe regalato a Paul la sua legittima libertà. Tuttavia, ancora una volta, la corte lo ha rinviato, ora al 18 dicembre, in attesa di una decisione del Ministro della Giustizia.
Quando finirà? Paul ha dedicato la sua vita alla protezione dei nostri oceani e merita un giusto processo, che dimostri innegabilmente la sua innocenza.
