Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a black and white day at Color my world Daily and we celebrate Sliders Sunday.
My weekend was super busy but very cool !! It was almost back to pre-pandemic era normal ! We had lots of kids over (my sons’s friends), my parents came and we had a power shortage !! I know that putting two exclamations points after a « power shortage » makes it feel like something very positive but in the end it was ! We had a BBQ with candles and lots of gin and tonic. It is hot as hell in Montreal right now so spending a night without AC was truly difficult but luckily for us the electricity came back just in time.
Today is my running day so I feel like this egg: I’m set free to go ! Since it is very hot, I will run inside. So far I did 295,2km this month and I hope I will get me badge (I know it is very insignificant but I have a very addictive personality !!) and be able to get to 400km until the end of this month…
Once again, with the power being out for more than 3 hours, I didn’t had the time to answer your comments. I will catch up as soon as possible…

I was blessed with a couple of weeks vacation to Kauai to appreciate what I think is one of God's beautiful creations. Back to Orange County CA and driving through Los Angeles I could instantly smell the burned fuel in the air that I was breathing working my way back home with thousands of cars on the road. I must say I really loved the simple slow paced life that is part of Kauai. For me we have made life too complicated. All I need is some clean air, some food, and little place to live and I am all good. This horse to me represented the spirit of the place and so I posted this photo first as one of the shots from the trip.

The blur and distortion match the "groupspeech" of the world I live in which is blurred and distorted along with any right of reply. The framing is also intentional to reflect the marginalisation of the common "man".

I was looking through some of my images from a few years ago and realised that I had not uploaded this particular photo to Flickr. It was, most probably, a once in a lifetime encounter with this wild chameleon as we were walking along a path in Spain.

It was initially constructed on a smaller scale in the late-second century BCE, and repaired in the late-first century BCE, likely following the earthquake of 15 BCE.
This architectural arrangement is typical of Hellenistic theaters throughout the Eastern Mediterranean with a circular orchestra and a cavea exceeding 180 degrees.
