We were visiting Kanniya Hot Springs in Sri Lanka. It was a scorching hot day and we were beginning to wilt. Our guide took us to a shaded hut where this lovely lady was serving cold wood apple tea.

Wood apples grow on trees and look like a small coconut. They have a pungent smell a bit like blue cheese and are found in Asia.

My favourite is Avea. I love Avea's centaur body, her harpy wings and her dark carnival-esque make-up!

My sister loves Bonita because of her amazing skeleton/moth body, gorgeous big wings, ultra sleek long hair and colour combination.

Although, she says Sirena is really growing on her but we need to fix her hair, it's so tangled and messy >_<

I had to look twice - this is a withered stem of a dandelion!!! There also was another plant which had 3 spirals! Never saw this shape before! In the background: tiny flowers of veronica. (found in Germany, Thueringen, near the bank of the river Werra)

CN 3036 leads train 394 through Brantford during a brief period of sun today. Only a few weeks old, 3036 looked great.

CN 3069 and CN 3063 throttle up out of Brantford with CN 435.

Both units only being a few weeks out of Fort Worth looked pretty sweet and was worth shooting after work.

I was surprised at how quiet these two new Tier 4 units were when under load, not quite the same bark that older GE's have.
