We found each other in ugly places. The kind that strip you down and show you who’s real. Somewhere in all that darkness, I found my very much loved friend Purr.
We got close fast, close like we’d already done the hard parts somewhere else. It’s strange knowing our lives missed each other for so long. Maybe if they hadn’t, this wouldn’t be what it is. Some bonds need the damage first.
The truth always comes out. When it does, the light doesn’t soften anything, it clarifies it. Purr wasn’t a coincidence. She belongs here, in my life, in my family, like it was always written that way.
She’s solid, kind and feircly outspoken. And still the easiest person to bully with love.

The boys cuddling up in the grass and sunshine. They really like one another. Sully was so much calmer once he realized Finn was nearby.
I hid this note as I left my sons house in Derby as I returned back to London. I wondered how long it would take before he found it. It was found about 2 weeks later !!!! I hid it on his desk amongst paper clips and stationary !!
