A going away capture at the Inner Loop of this Brabham BT36. If memory serves me correct, this car was kicking up chaff from a previous formula car that went agricultural entering the Inner Loop. This part of the track is fun because you can't see the small formula cars until they suddenly appear from behind the armco into the bus stop, but you can hear them. It's kinda like shooting trap but instead of a shotgun you have a camera with a 400mm lens. You must follow through, grasshopper. I went as low as 1/200s but glad this one was at 1/640s to freeze some of that chaff.

Un poco de nostalgia
“Ningún tiempo pasado fue mejor”, “siempre tenemos que mirar hacia delante”. Pero es agradable mirar de vez en cuando por el retrovisor y recordar aquellas cosas que un día formaron parte de nuestra vida.
Esta foto es uno de esos retrovisores que nos hacer sentirnos un poco nostálgicos al recordar “La Peseta”. O tal vez nos recuerda la “fotografía analógica”, con el ritual de llevar el carrete a la tienda donde formulábamos la típica pregunta: ¿Cuándo paso a recoger las copias? Y después de la espera, la emoción que se sentía al abrir el sobre y acariciar con las manos el resultado del trabajo realizado. ¡Qué tiempos! ¡Qué cabreo! si después de todo el trabajo el resultado es una “………….. “

The New Jersey Motorsports Park is a great venue for drivers and spectators alike. You can see almost every bit of the track from extremely close vantage points. Some participants in the Sports Car Vintage Racing Association are shown coming over a hill in the twisty section are (left to right) a 1969 Lotus Formula Ford (1600cc), 1965 Turner 1500, 1968 Ginetta G16, and a 1968 Brabham BT23 (Formula B).
